First off, this place has great food. The customer service has really gone down hill. It’s a shame, because this place is a really local staple in the community. When did this place start closing at 6pm?!?! Really, the should advertise closing at 5:30pm. I came into Sleepy Hollow on Friday at 5:40 with two small kids in tow. The staff watched me talk with my kids about what they wanted to order. Without any warning closed down the grill and slicer. When I went to order they couldn’t make my food. No apologies either! They wanted to go home at 5:50pm!!! At that moment they lost a customer and I went elsewhere for dinner. Again, really a shame for this local business.

When they said lettuce bowl, I assumed salad. But it's an actual head of lettuce as a bowl. That being said, it was delicious. You can make lettuce wraps like my husband did with his Italian hoagie bowl or eat it like a wedge salad like I did. The onion rings were crunch, and the sauce was tasty. My son (who only eats bread and meat) got a 9in mini steak hoagie and loved it (too big for him but not big enough to share). The folks working were friendly to us. If we lived closer, I would eat there again.

Good day to be the cheesesteak guy. Great little place. Unfortunately the cheesesteak was the weak link. Great family run business with Grandma and dad pics on the wall. They support other local business' ie. Fireman donuts. which were good and made by a fireman. Lettuce and Tomato may have ruined this cheesesteak. The meat needed to be on this big bready roll and not on top of the lettuce and Tomato. Overall it was a great experience.

Went there today. I have a dairy allergy. I specifically asked if the macaroni salad had dairy in it, the woman said it only had mayonnaise, which is egg not milk. So I ordered some. Took two bites and was fine, but the third bite was a piece of cheese! Thankfully I spit it out, but now I’m afraid I’m gonna get sick. Thankfully I don’t have a severe allergy, but if I did I could’ve been sent to the hospital. They apologized and I received a refund, but needless to say I will not be trusting them with my allergy again. The staff needs to learn their ingredients better.

The macaroni salad did taste good, so if you don’t have allergies this is a good spot for you. Just don’t go if you have an...

I have been going to this place since I was a small child. I am now in my late 40s. Food is always good but don't try and order food after 5:00 even though they say they are open till 6:00. I called today at 5:10. They answered and I said I would like to place an order for pickup. The girl asked me to hold and put the phone on the counter. I could hear the staff talking the entire time. I waited for 10 minutes. One girl asked another who was on the phone and she responded some guy that wanted to order. After I hung up I tried to call back several times all the way up to 6:00 and they just left the phone off the hook. It's really ashame. I always...
