I want to like this location more, and am hoping that itās just going through growing pains of being new. I have had almost every order from this location messed up in some way, while the other locations are always consistent. From asking for a half-sweet drink and getting something more DOUBLE sweet, to ordering an americano and getting a house coffee instead as itās the āsame thingā, and even sometimes getting wrong drinks entirely, this location is consistently inconsistent. As of late, I have been ordering some variation of an iced macchiato, where the espresso is the last thing added to a drink where it becomes two toned and needs to be mixed in. Unfortunately, this location manages to pack so much ice and liquid into the drink that all of the espresso still floating at the top of the drink bubbles out of the lid when you try to insert a straw, and then youāre just left with $6 flavored milk. I have asked for light ice every time to try to curb this on my end, but my request is ignored and this issue persists. Remember this, as it is important to the story. Again, Iāve had multiple orders from this location messed up, but I am a rather patient person so this hasnāt been too much of an issue until today. On 6/2/2024 my order of a light ice macchiato was somehow deleted by the girl working the kiosk, after I had paid. This is okay, things happen, no big deal. She proceeds to look through her iPad for about 5 minutes trying to figure out what went wrong, and finally found it. She went inside to tell the baristas to remake it, but instead of quickly making my drink, they congregated around each other to laugh and giggle about the situation for another 3 minutes. When I finally received my drink, the kiosk girl set the drink down to do the ātowel wipeā each drink gets before being handed over to the customer. This is when the drink bubbled up and out all over the cup, and her workspace, because the light ice drink was TOO FULL OF ICE AND LIQUID. unfortunately, because the espresso in the macchiato is on top of the drink, all of it bubbled out and proceeded to be wiped up by her, leaving me with slightly caramel flavored milk and ice. She didnāt even realize that she had wiped up the effective part of my drink, and proceeded to hand the drink to me and send me in my way. I donāt usually write reviews about food service places, as Iāve worked in the coffee industry and understand how hectic it can be. However, the jobs truly are not hard to do correctly. When orders are consistently messed up, wrongs are not righted, and the general behavior isnāt conducive to customer service, it becomes hard to support a business. After a month of inconsistent service at this location, I no longer believe itās just growing pains but rather a general attitude of apathy towards performing quality tasks at this location. Iām in lane one the server glances over to me and decides to just keep talking to her friend in the car. Thereās another server standing at the podium in lane two and, another server comes out of the building but not to take my order she went to the car that just pulled up behind me took their order once that server is done taking that order she turns around looks into my car glances at the server whoās just talking to the customer in front of me and decides to go help another car that has just pulled In. Now. Iām being ignored by 2-3 different servers five minutes of watching a server. Talk to her friend in the drive-through the car just pulls off, doesnāt receive a drink to my knowledge the server that supposed to take my order, rolls her eyes as Iām pulling forward (mind you if I wasnāt trapped in three lanes of cars I wouldāve pulled off already) she says What do you want? I just kept driving Mind you these are the type of people who whine about not getting takin seriously I donāt care that youāre a highschooler or a college student. Got completely skipped in line one time, and turned into a 15min ordeal once I managed to get to the front (which, people who were there after me getting their orders before me has happened more than once now). Then today, I was almost held hostage in your parking lot because your staff thought it was a good idea to park in the passing lane. Yaāll were super busy. When I talked to one of your employees, she said they didnāt have a choice because City Utilities were using some of their spacesā¦???? Have yaāll not heard of carpooling?? Find the nearest public spot to park in, and carpool over?? Thankfully, I drive a compact car and was able to squeeze between the two lanes before having to wait out the entire line, but PLEASE train your employees better. I think using basic problem solving skills, and repeating orders back isnāt above their pay grade.
