Aviatori is a good option for coffee if you're headed downtown, but it would be worth the visit any time. I'd encourage new patrons to go inside to check out the fun decor.
I'd describe the inside as an homage to flight, set in your grandparents' living room. It's more museum than café, but still manages to be cozy.
It's clear that the owner has pride in their product and in creating a comfortable and unique atmosphere.
Honestly, the coffee is on the expensive side, but the drinks and pastries that I've had are undeniable good. I've tried the drip coffee and an espresso based drink. The regular coffee was good, but the espresso is even better.

My iced latte from 8:30 this morning is still great at 12:30 thanks to COFFEE ICE CUBES! Simply brilliant but would be lost on quicker drinkers who throw the ice out! I didn't get any flavor because I wanted to taste the coffee and am NOT disappointed. Smooth, not acidic or tart at all.
I look forward to returning when I have time to sit a while in the sun drenched front room, to take in the gorgeous craftmanship of the building and relax with the...
