Aviatori is a good option for coffee if you're headed downtown, but it would be worth the visit any time. I'd encourage new patrons to go inside to check out the fun decor. I'd describe the inside as an homage to flight, set in your grandparents' living room. It's more museum than café, but still manages to be cozy. It's clear that the owner has pride in their product and in creating a comfortable and unique atmosphere. Honestly, the coffee is on the expensive side, but the drinks and pastries that I've had are undeniable good. I've tried the drip coffee and an espresso based drink. The regular coffee was good, but the espresso is even better. Last thought, I've never gotten in and out of Aviatori quickly, so I'd recommend you go with the intention of enjoying yourself and savoring quality. If you're just trying to get in and out, then there are better options to suit that need.

Run to Aviatori Coffee House. This is in an old historic house and the inside was beautiful!!! You need to go in yourself to experience the beauty of this space. Pictures don't do it justice. I'll post more soon. It was busy and I was trying to protect the privacy of the customers. I got a cold coffee and a (cheese bread) pao de queijo. The coffee was fresh and delicious and the cheese bread....they may become a problem for me. So good. I'm excited to try more of their coffee here and the desserts. Lovely owners too. It felt like you were going to have coffee and snacks at your favorite Auntie's house. It felt like a home....but also a business. I'll be back soon.

Wonderful gem of a coffee shop managed by a former Brazilian jet pilot, decorated with pictures from her flying career along with other aviation items. Had an excellent cappuccino and a delicious cheese popover-ish Brazilian pastry called Pão de Queijo. My wife had a refreshing iced latte graced with an airplane-shaped coffee ice cube and a very good cherry danish. Great furnishings for sitting, chatting, laptopping, reading, etc., but also has a drive-through window for takeout. Very charming place amid a rather prosaic urban setting of parking lots and busy roads. Very friendly proprietor with an intriguing career story to tell.

Wonderful gem of a coffee shop managed by a former Brazilian jet pilot, decorated with pictures from her flying career along with other aviation items. Had an excellent cappuccino and a delicious cheese popover-ish Brazilian pastry called Pão de Queijo. My wife had a refreshing iced latte graced with an airplane-shaped coffee ice cube and a very good cherry danish. This adorable gem is in an unsuspecting structure on the side of a state parking lot by a super busy thoroughfare but is well worth turning-off and taking a moment to yourself. My iced latte from 8:30 this morning is still great at 12:30 thanks to COFFEE ICE CUBES! Simply brilliant but would be lost on quicker drinkers who throw the ice out! I didn't get any flavor because I wanted to taste the coffee and am NOT disappointed. Smooth, not acidic or tart at all.
