Not enough parking, we had to park a few blocks away. Not exactly what I was thinking this place was. I thought it was more like the kids places in St.Louis. All most all of the stuff didn’t work. The giant child was creepy and my kids had freak outs anytime they saw it so we had to cover their eyes if we walked by it. Not a lot to do on the first floor other than let the kids get soaked. The second floor is better but gets crowded fast. The third floor has nothing. This place has potential but it’s pretty boring. I don’t recommend for kids under 4 or older than 8. My kids are 10months, 2 years, and 12 years. We spent maybe an hour here before the kids were done. My 2 year old is autistic so this wasn’t the best place to take him but he liked the water and that was only fine till older kids started splashing other kids. Second floor has the vet room which they liked a lot and the ambulance but the weather room caused a meltdown from the noises cause kids had a thunder maker. So yeah don’t recommend if your kids have sensory issues or are not in the age range...
Read moreVising from Chicago on Mother's Day and took my grandson and his sister to this amazing play place...extremely impressed! We're burned out on Ergadoozy, the historical museums, Sky Zone, and the mall and were thrilled by the numerous educational and interactive stations. We spent three hours there and still didn't "play" with everything! Three floors of awesomeness! After struggling to find the place and ending up driving down at least one alley or parking ramp in the wrong direction, Aaron greeted us at the front counter and courteously apologized for the trouble I had getting there. He/they honored their advertised military discount and the kids easily found a "souvenir" under $10 to take home from the gift shop. He is a valuable asset to this establishment, and I caught glimpses of him throughout the building re-setting props, tidying up, cleaning, smiling and greeting people, etc. This place is first-class learning and playing for kiddos under 10. Great job bringing a greatly-needed educational play-place to...
Read moreKids of all ages love this museum. Most things are hands on, child sized, and interesting enough for even the most attention deficit person in our party! Of particular interest was the water erosion exhibit, the weather station, the thermal heat display, and especially the scarves through the pneumatic tubes depicting diabetes.... I'd suggest having museum staff or volunteers at that exhibit to keep kids (and adults) from over-stuffing the tubes or putting foreign objects in it. When we first arrived, everything was stuck, and someone had out a ball in the chute. Half an hour later, on our way back through the room, the display was functioning again. However, i bet broke down 3 times in less than 15 minutes while we were there. Adults in my party attempted to free up the scarves, but after a 4th occurrence, we gave...
