Braum's Ice Cream & Dairy Store — Restaurant in Springfield

I live close to the north Glenstone and Chestnut expressway location. I love the convenience of the ice cream in 🌞 summer time so close to home. The strawberry 🍓 poppy seed chicken 🐔 salad is my favorite food item on their menu. The candy bar mix is terrific as well. Not too over priced on their ice cream desert items either! I'm very very poor have little to basically no consistent financial income currently, so the $1.41 after tax twist frozen yogurt cones they have are manageable whenever I have a sweets craving. 😋🤑😎💙🍦🍨This location also has a great little grocery store with basic everyday choices. Eggs, milk, bread, fresh fruit and veggies as well as a small but decent variety of other delicious produce options. The have chicken salad potato and macaroni salads that are awesome too! I'm originally from Arizona and Indiana neither states had or still don't have a Braums store anywhere around them, so coming to Missouri trying Braums was a nice new option. The only complaint I have isn't about the quality of the food or restaurant it's self but the staff, primarily the managers actually, are extremely rude and condescending! My husband and I have both separate and together had more then a few incidents with store managers going out of their ways to be outstandingly degrading, judgemental, mean, rude and hateful. The cashiers or other hourly staff are far from this disrespectful example of leadership that is displayed for them, thankfully! They are all mostly, what looks to be much younger aged, late highschool, to freshly graduated from HS age range,all of them are extremely polite, generous, kind, and eager to serve the stores guests! Julianne, is the name of the most rotten apple of managers employed at that exact location. Watch out for her! Heads up, so everyone else can have the option to avoid this negative angry Ill mannered woman! Wish I had known a head of time could've saved myself from allowing this self loathing ignorant woman from ruining my mood on...

If I could give this location ZERO stars, I SO would! Went through the drive through- I was the ONLY ONE in the drive through, the lobby had maybe 5-6 cars in the parking lot. Got a breakfast burrito meal- asked what the difference was in between the classic (which sucked! Raw crunchy onions- TONS of them, barely any meat, very little cheese, lukewarm at best!) and the grande. The girl on the speaker instantly got hateful & told me that the difference was the grande had jalapenos & hashbrowns inside the burrito. Ok, no biggie. I tell her I want the classic #3. I told her I want it the size it comes in. She said the total, I pulled around, she didn't smile, and instead scowled at me as I handed her my card. She rang up my order, shoved the card back at me, and told me to pull to the next window... no thank you, no have a good day, no kiss my rump-nothing. Ok... go to the second window. Get my order, I look in the bag & ask for ketchup & mild sauce- she huffs at me, goes to get the condiments, then SHOVES them in my hand & SLAMS the window in my face after forcing my coffee in my hand (at least THAT was hot!) but 3/4 the way full. As I am driving away, I'm reflecting on the lack of customer service & I call in and ask for the manager- I spoke with "Kell". I tell her of these issues & she immediately starts cutting me off stating that they are "SO BUSY" (Um, ma'am, NO you were NOT!) & that they are short staffed. I told her that regardless of how much staff they have they should still treat people with dignity and respect. If you all don't like your jobs and people THAT MUCH, LEAVE! Get out of customer service because clearly, ya'll seriously suck at it. I would tell ya'll to have a great day, but instead, I'll tell you to have the day you will have and that you get and deserve. NEVER going back to this...

I have not been to braums in some time. But today after being sick all week I decided to get something solid to eat. Asked for a double Jr with only mayo mustard lettuce and pickle. I was told they could not add lettuce as if yall don't have any lettuce? I would have paid extra but I told the gentleman taking my order to forget about the lettuce. I get to my car and take a bite of my double jr and it had ketchup and pickles. I can't stomach the taste of ketchup. So I go to the drive through. I explained my order was wrong and the lady at the speaker rudely told me that is how it's made. I then explained I asked for it to be made different. They have me pull up.. 1st window the guy tried charging me and when he realized I was the messed up order he was honest kinda rude.. then I get to the 2nd window and the lady which I assumed was on the speaker gave me my food and I tried to give the messed up burger back as i cant eat it she told me to keep it.. I am now leaving taking a bite from the new burger.. they burned the patties.. I didn't get no apology or sorry for you inconvenience not even a thank you for stopping in and spending you money with us.. I will not be back to...
