I went here yesterday evening and waited about 15 minutes for my order as there were 11 college students who ordered in front of me. That's a good turn around. Tad bit annoying that we had to wait for our drinks until our order was up. We came here to eat becuase I was told that this place is the only authentic mexican food around. Pros: The meat was seasoned good, the horchata was delicious, they offer Tortas and Elotes. Cons: The meats are tiny (asada and pastor), the $2.15 tacos are very small and should be properly called a taquito (you can't get full on 2), the $8.45 Torta is overpriced for such a small bolillo where everything falls out as you eat it, nothing was spicy (not the jalapenos, not the red salsas offered, not the pico de gallo <with no jalapenos>, not the chili for the elote). The nasiest thing on this menu not worth the $3.50, was the Maruchan Noodles as it was nothing like described. Just brown watered noodles in a cup with no chili or anything. I was expecting a spicy cup of noodles with the works. We took our food to good so we were able to add lemon pepper and valentina sauce to the Elotes. We are orginally from Austin/San Antonio and are used to good spicy affordable mexican food that keeps you full. I paid $44 cash yesterday for 3 of us and my kids ended up asking me to make arroz and fideo at 8:30 at night. STILL, this place is way better than the the few other places we have tried.

I guess I'm mad. yes ok I'm mad. I just paid full price for a burrito the size of a taquito. How can you serve this and pass this off as a burrito? I live close by and will never return. This such thing has never ever happened to me at any restaurant in my life. You cannot serve food like this to people and expect them to leave happy! We eat out mexican food once a week and usually go to I Love Tacos. But this place is a little closer. well forget it, I'd walk to another place before I eat here again!

We recently hired Don Toño for an event we hosted in our office parking lot, and WOW, they were a HIT! When asked what was best, no one seemed to be able to agree between the burritos, tacos, quesadillas, and even corn in a cup. The struggle being; it was all just SOOO GOOD! The food was great. They showed up to the event early for set up. They were easy to get ahold of and very easy going. We were very happy we chose them for our event. 🥰

BYFAR THE MOST AUTHENTIC FOOD IVE HAD SINCE I LEFT ARIZONA....I CANT STRESS THIS ENOUGH!! The food is so unbelievably delicious...this is the food truck of ur dreams...I don't know what they do wjen they turn around after taking ur order ..but they come back five minutes later with the absolute best tasting flavors...I'm talking. Too perfection ....they are spot on with flavors. .portions speed ..friendliness...options...freshness... If u like heat....they for real deal can bring the heat.. I made the mistake of saying surprise me wjen the owner asked what meat I'd like in my entree....NEVER SAY surprise me to a woman cooking u ur street tacos...bc boyyyyyyyy.....she hit me with the surprise.... Straight heat...It took me an hour to eat two street tacos..blowing my nose....literally sweating....eyes watering ...straight wonderful chaos....it's hurt so bad but the flavors were so ridiculously good during it that I kept on battling through... Towww-taaaa-lllly worth every snotty second...juss sayin.

Yall ....if u haven't got u some.....go get u some... They deserve ur business....it's I'd say hands down the best food in springfield....I'd put money on...

The food is great and a good price, it's also authentic. The workers speak both Spanish and English and are very nice and helpful. They had a lot of different meat options, as well as some I wasn't expecting like lengua and tripas. I liked the little eating area, It had a roof for shelter from the sun and the elements, and plenty of seating with four tables. I personally loved the new chilaquiles, it's one of my favorite Mexican dishes and I highly recommend it from here. The elotes in the cup were great and cheesy, and the Jamaica (hibiscus) agua Fresca...
