Dunkin' — Restaurant in Springfield

The location is kind of hard to get to via car and parking is inadequate. I probably would not have chosen that specific location if it had been my shop. There is a Mello-Cream donut shop, and a grocery store with a bakery just 200 feet away, and a Krispy-Kreme shop just around the corner. So this shop needs to make sure nothing stands in the way of customers deciding to use your shop than the other two.

The shop is clean and the employees are friendly and engaged. I never feel that they expect me to buy my stuff, eat it quick, and get out. It is possible to linger a bit and take your time.

Like all Dunkin' Donut shops, the Coffee is excellent. The absolute best donut shop coffee on the planet. It isn't too strong, but not too weak either. You don't want the coffee flavor to overpower the donuts, but you want to feel like you've drunk coffee when you are done. DD coffee is very satisfying in that regard.

The donuts are ok, and the selection of them is adequate. Most people will find a pastry they will like there. They also sell other breakfast food, but I admit I haven't tried them.

I love Dunkin' Donuts and have been to this specific store multiple times before and always had great service until today. Today, I ordered the frozen Dunkin coffee with vanilla flavoring and left with my drink. After getting a couple blocks away I realized it had chocolate flavoring, as it tasted like a Herseys bar. I returned to the store and was told they add chocolate to the frozen Dunkin coffee, which seems odd since there is no mention of it, but they said they could add vanilla to it, which was my original order. After hearing they automatically add chocolate (not a fan of chocolate) I requested a vanilla iced coffee instead, but instead they gave me the same frozen Dunkin with more vanilla flavoring to attempt to mask the chocolate. I'm not the type to correct my order when it's wrong so correcting them the first time was a big deal and I just gave up because the cashier clearly couldn't follow...

I made a mobile order after seeing that the store was open until 8pm, after my mobile order went through at 7:25pm I drove straight to the store arrived at roughly 7:36pm. I saw that the lights were on so I hopped out of my car, excited to just run in and pick up my drinks. I tried the doors only to find that there were locked and that the store had close early. There was no sign on the door to explain why they had closed early and the app had not been updated. The workers inside just ignored my presence and continued to go about their business. I was not only disappointed that the store hours had not been updated for that night, but I was also frustrated because I was charged for an order I never received.
