Earlier this week I had the opportunity to speak to the owner, Robert Lindsey, and he said "you won't be disappointed" if I came in for breakfast this weekend. I appreciate that level of cockiness in someone that's going to feed me. And I was definitely not disappointed. It was the tastiest breakfast I've ever had. We got the chicken & waffles, a giant grilled blueberry muffin, and a bacon/egg/cheese breakfast sandwich on a bagel. The chicken was so crispy and well seasoned and the candied bacon on top was delectable. The maple syrup was heated up and had cinnamon in it. The breakfast sandwich was everything I imagined it would be with a generous amount of bacon and well prepared eggs. The muffin was huge because it was clearly baked in a ramekin or something and had a more cake-like consistency without being heavy. I loved everything about it. It's a cozy little place with less than 10 tables, but we were able to get a table immediately and they do take out orders as well. 10/10, will be going back. Worth every penny.

My absolute favorite place to get take out lunch. No one else makes salads like this place, all the ingredients are fresh and high quality, the chicken is juicy perfection, the croutons are homemade flavor crunch bombs, the dressing is homemade and exactly how I like it. Seriously try this place and you won't regret it. The outside is unassuming but the food is high brow for sure!!

Words fail me to express just how floored I am about the quality and complexity of bliss I experienced dining here today for the first time. It's amazing to me that it could be this convenient or affordable. Cheap, Fast, Good, pick 2? No, EAT gives you ALL THREE. If good things come in small packages, this little brunch pad is a quantum singularity of culinary excellence.

I love this lil place! I've popped by a few times for take out lunch during the work week and it's been delicious every time. Be sure to check their Facebook page - they post new specials every day, I think. I plan for it to take about half an hour for my order to be ready. Not sure how it is during non-COVID times, but every time I've gone in there, it's been the same gentleman in the kitchen and taking orders. He works really hard and it pays off. Today I had a cup of soup (pumpkin Thai) and a wrap from the daily specials. Everything was incredible - even the side salad the wrap came with was fresh and full of leafy greens, which I like. And the homemade ranch dressing?! Very flavorful. Pretty sure he makes hand cut fries and potato chips as well. Tots or sweet potato fries are an option too.

Seriously - stop reading this review and...

Let me preface this by stating that breakfast food is my favorite. I don't share it, I could eat it for all three meals of the day and I will go to great lengths to find an awesome breakfast spot. Look no further than Eat. Service is always prompt with a smile and the food is SO enjoyable. The building is small, but this adds to the charm. I can't help myself when I go to Eat. I always get two plates. Usually the waffle and then one of the amazing omelettes. Don't ask me which is my favorite- I refuse to answer because they're all so good. Park around back, pull up a chair, be welcomed like family and EAT the food that is so good, it'll make you want to slap your mama. They won't...
