I ordered an order for delivery. The person on the phone was extreamly rude! Telling us that we could not get the order that we order every week. Finally, he took the order and argued with us on what we normally get. It was not about him telling us that they did not have are order available. It was his demeanor in how he talked to us. I just let it go and chalked it up to poor training. Then we get the order and we did not get what was ordered. So, I call to talk to the manager. I was trying to explain the situation to the manager who was talking over me and trying to dismiss my complaint on our order taker. He then starts to yell at me because he was talking over me, interrupting me, while I was trying to tell him about our initial phone call. I then asked his name and he said Bob. I asked for a last name and he refused to give it to me. I then requested to make a formal complaint to another manager because he was being disrespectful. I called back after thinking about the situation and requested a refund because our order was incomplete and the costumer service was horrible! He laughed at me and hung up. I own a business and called completely nicely to talk about my experience. I would never keep a manager (if he is a manager-very hard to believe) working for my company. I order from that company on a weekly basis and will never go there again! I was so mortified that any customer can be treated like I was. When are business going to understand that customers can give great insight into business improvements. I would never and have never treated my customers the way I was treated tonight. Read moreWe ordered pizza for delivery, and were given a 45 minute ETA. 1 1/2 hours go by, no sign of the pizza so we called to check on our order. We were told the delivery person had just left with our pizza. Another 1/2 hour goes by, still no pizza so we call again. It turns out that it had not in fact left the restaurant with driver - it had been sitting under the heat lamp in the wrong area. So we waited over 2 hours, with grandparents and grandchildren needing to just eat some food and go to bed. We were offered no compensation - just told that the pizza still looked "fresh" (whatever that means) and they could still deliver it... At full price. Ridiculous. I've worked food service many years of my life, I get it that sometimes things happen. This, however, was unacceptable. I can't believe that when we called to check on it the first time, nobody actually checked on our order - they just said yeah it's on its way. Then when it turns out they had actually really messed up, we received no attempt at any apology. This was the poorest delivery service I've ever experienced, definitely won't be ordering...
Read moreWe drove up from Missouri to pick up an item nearby. Went online for directions & independent places nearby to eat lunch. Gabatoni's looked good. Saw pictures of pizza & salad & went there. Don't be deceived new people! The pictures of the pizza couldn't be more deceiving. The pizza wasn't at all like the picture. We ordered pepperoni & sausage. We saw a lot of sausage but couldn't see nor taste the pepperoni. A total rip! There was no Italian salad on the menu. The picture of a salad was of a ceasar salad they didn't have. I asked what their house dressing was & he said Italian, one was sugary, the other w/o sugar. I ordered the later. It was the brand I buy at home to mix w/another. Stevie's Italian, make in springfield from another now defunct restaurant. That's not a house (housemade) dressing. We felt dupped. The waiter was great but we were mislead & will not go back.
