Grab-A-Java — Restaurant in Springfield

First time stopping by. This place is always packed to the street on my way to work. This morning, I left home early to try and get there. My surprise is only 3 cars ahead of me. I'm not sure if they were training someone, but my wait was over 15min. Mainly because the car in front of me may or may not have had issues. However, their conversation was very long. Thought we would try a local coffee shop as we visited Springfield. While the service was nice, they had to re-ask our order a few minutes after placing it.... we only had 2 orders. We ordered an iced Caramel Macchiato and an iced White Chocolate Mocha with Lavender and Blackberry. Both drinks tasted burnt and there's wasn't anything white or chocolate about the second drink. Couldn't even discern the flavors from the burnt taste of the mocha. Needless to say, we didn't drink the drinks and are going somewhere else. I drive out of my way to go to Grab-A-Java on South 6th St because I vote with my dollars. This coffee drive-thru on the right a few blocks South of S Grand Ave is the best. It is fast, coffee tastes great, food is fresh & tastes great, people are incredibly friendly, and it's a locally owned part of our community. Plus, you need to go even if it's just to see the original artwork on the sign by a local artist. Everyone is so nice and they always love to see MadD (Mad-Dog; pronounced Maddy).
