This review is mostly based on the service, and not the food...which was standard McAlister’s food that I consider to be of high quality. I arrived at 1:00 pm to place an order to-go. The receipt printer wasn’t working at the time, which was absolutely no big deal at all....until I needed it later!...when our food didn’t arrive for over 35 minutes (for a takeout order!). After about 30 minutes, I asked a cashier if she could check on the order...and she asked “what all did you order?” I tried to recite everything by memory, but eventually asked if she could just look up our order, and check it that way. She said that she couldn’t look it up, because we already paid, so she asked for our receipt. Not having a receipt (the printer was broken), I had to again try to remember all the meals and sides placed with our order. She went back to the kitchen, and then loudly proclaimed without turning around “It’s not ready yet!”...which I thought was kind of obvious since we were still there, waiting. When she came back, I asked if she could check and make sure the kitchen received our order, and she replied “it’s almost ready”. We waited another 5 minutes, and they called my name to hand us the order. I looked inside, and immediately noticed that there weren’t enough sides, and that we were missing a potato salad. I notified the server, and she said “No, everything is in there”...and then pointed at the bag and said “the potato salad is in this one”. Not feeling very confident about the order, I decided to take everything out of the bag to make sure it was in there.....and it wasn’t...so I notified her of it again. She appeared frustrated, and said “I can just get you another one”. Overall, the receipt issue and the forgotten side weren’t major problems...it was simply the way that those things were handled and the amount of time it took for a takeout order. I am still confused as to why it took 35 minutes...it was well after the lunchtime crowd, and it was not busy, at all. In summary, I wouldn’t recommend this place, based on the service, alone. The food was great (as usual), but the inconveniences of everything else were big enough that I’ll probably just choose a different restaurant when I’m eating lunch...
Read moreI called at the last minute because I was making dinner at home and I forgot to pick up salad from the grocery store. I was making lasagna which you can't really have without salad so I desperately needed some. I know from experience that when you're working in a restaurant the last thing you want to do at the end of the night is to take care of orders because you've got a lot of work to do before you can get out of there and it's already been a long night, either boring, with nothing going on, and it lasts forever; or it's been a nightmare and you're literally not going to get out of there until 3 hours after the restaurant closes because of all the cleaning you have to do. Everybody was super sweet despite me calling right before close and I came in there after they had the place gleaming; it looked great. The food is always good at this location whenever I go, and it doesn't matter what crew is working, they're always very professional and their service is fantastic. Tonight I had the pleasure of meeting Lane who saw me standing at the counter when he was busy with his closing duties and immediately dropped what he was doing in a hurry to come take care of me. I really appreciate that kind of service at the end of the shift especially, because I know how it is and it's not always easy to put on a smile in fact sometimes, and some restaurants it doesn't matter if you're professional or not but Lane still was and that says something about him. I hope he has a raise coming to him soon because he deserves one! I will be back and I appreciate you...

The menu at McAlister's is quite extensive and offers a wide range of options to choose from. The sandwiches are the main attraction, and they are generously portioned and delicious. The bread is fresh and soft, and the meats and toppings are of high quality. I particularly enjoyed the Club Sandwich and the Reuben.
In addition to sandwiches, McAlister's offers a variety of salads, soups, and baked potatoes. The salads are fresh and tasty, and the dressings are flavorful. The soups are hot, hearty, and perfect for a cold day. The baked potatoes are massive and can be topped with a variety of delicious toppings.
One of the highlights of McAlister's is their famous sweet tea, which is served in a large cup with plenty of ice. It's refreshing, sweet, and perfect for washing down a meal.
Overall, I would highly recommend McAlister's Deli to anyone looking for a satisfying and delicious meal. The food is consistently good, the atmosphere is pleasant, and the service is friendly and efficient. It's a great place to grab a quick lunch or a casual dinner with...
