Everyone knows about McDonald’s, but have you ever heard the story of how Ray Kroc stole the brand from the McDonald brothers—and why McDonald’s is one of the biggest real estate companies in the world? The McDonald brothers, Richard and Maurice, created a revolutionary fast-food system in San Bernardino, California, in the 1940s. Their efficient “Speedee Service System” turned out burgers, fries, and shakes faster than anyone imagined. Enter Ray Kroc, a milkshake machine salesman who saw their concept and dreamed of nationwide expansion. Kroc struck a deal to franchise their idea, but the brothers, wary of overreach, kept control of their original location. Kroc, however, had other plans. Frustrated by the brothers’ cautious approach, he opened his own company, McDonald’s Corporation, and eventually bought them out for $2.7 million in 1961. But here’s the kicker: the McDonald brothers didn’t own the land under their flagship restaurant. Kroc refused to give them royalties and built a rival McDonald’s across the street, forcing them out of business. Today, Kroc’s vision thrives not just on selling burgers but on owning prime real estate globally. McDonald’s rents its locations to franchisees, making it a massive real estate empire disguised as a fast-food chain—an ironic twist to a tale of ambition, betrayal, and unparalleled success.

i ordered and they had me wait in #3 and took over 25 min they gave the food to the people before me and after me and I was still waiting they kept giving people that came after me their food so when they finally came with my “food” I left quick cause my break was almost done and when I got back to work I noticed the McDouble was missing

McDonald's store located on page Bblvd is disgusting. They lack customer service skills and food is undercooked. This was bought tonight 1/3/2020 at exactly 10:15pm. Two quarter pounders. These things should be well done after waiting at the take out window almost 15 minutes. Rethink getting paid the 15 an hour.

All I ordered was a large hi c and an ice cream cone in a cup. When I drove up to pay, the person at the window was very nice and polite, he was just a crew member. When I drove up to the next window the manager was there holding my ice cream but it was not in a cup. I simply asked “can I get it in a cup” she walked off to get the cup and upon returning said “next time you need to ask for the cup”. I found this very rude since I did ask in the first place and even though it wasn’t heard I didn’t make a big deal about it not being correct and simply asked again. After she said that I let her know that I did ask and it must not have been heard. After I said that she sucked her teeth and didn’t respond. After that I said “well that was rude” and she just laughed. I would not recommend this place since the people in management roles have very bad attitudes. I’ve never had this experience on Boston rd which is where I usually go to and where I will continue to go. I do hope this manager gets her attitude in check especially over very...

Not a complaint but since the lock down from the Corona life’s been miserable. No hanging out with friends or family that you don’t live with, no going out to a nice sit down meal with the wife and kids, just an over all boring and terrible time. But this morning things changed, I roll through this McDonald's and decide to get a sandwich and some nuggies. Order, pay, receive my food. Now PAUSE. I don't expect much from fast food places but as I go to check my order I remove my sammich, check, I pull out my nuggets and give them a shake, check. I place them on my lap and proceed to open them to reveal what I think will be my 4 nuggets and I was surprised to not find my 4 nugget I had ordered BUT 5 OF THOSE GLORIOUS LITTLE TASTEY NUGS. 10/10 would visit again. Customer satisfaction and service is priority at this location. Give everyone a...
