I remember first trying this place out about a year or two ago and getting the pollo guisado and thinking that it was absolutely delicious and exactly how I like it. It used to be my favorite thing to get there but I don't know.. As of late I don't think it tastes AS GOOD as it did when I first dined here. That being said, I do really enjoy their pernil when I get a craving for it and their roasted chicken and carne guisada I love their yuca because the onions and sprinkle of vinegar add wonderful flavor to an otherwise pretty bland vegetable. Their yellow rice is just OK in my opinion. I much prefer the rice from Raices because I think it's a bit more flavorful. Apart from that, the sopa de pollo is pretty good maybe just a tad greasy and if it were me, I'd definitely add some mixed vegetables or SOMETHING to it to add color and more nutrition. As someone who likes eating pretty healthy I wish that there were more vegetable options to compliment my meals whether that be salad or roasted/steamed vegetables etc. Apart from that, their desserts are really tasty. I love their chocolate frosted donut with sprinkles and their flan. Side note: I did use the bathroom facility today and there was a big cockroach crawling towards the ceiling which really freaked me out and this has happened to me on two separate occasions. I did bring it to their attention though. OVERALL this is definitely a go-to place for me when I don't feel like cooking and I enjoy most things on their menu and the staff is always friendly and the prices are...

I’m looking at my sandwich waiting for them to hand it to me and they stay ignoring me for about 15 minutes people walking in they taking care of them knowing I been standing there for a while .. And Then today a month later I’m standing by the bread area all I wanted was bread .. they have no acknowledge skills and stay ignoring me .. the place is not to busy but as I’m standing there more people keep coming and getting service while I’m just there.. when I finally ask for bread she tell me with an attitude to get in line .. really ghetto is the only word I can think of .. owners really need to replace and hire more professional employees with people skills because the ones they currently have absolutely are horrible the morning employees im speaking of . I’m never going back and I recommend it to no one.. if you don’t believe go in the morning and see...
Read moreMi Antojito is the kind of place that feels like it wants you there. The interior is warm, well-lit, and inviting—cozy yet open, with plenty of seating to accommodate both individuals and groups. I came in mid-morning and chose to sit alone, just to soak in the golden light and the friendly, welcoming faces of the staff. It felt peaceful and safe, like a moment of stillness in a busy world.
The food? It tasted like something my mother would make—if my mother had the magic touch of feeding not just one person, but a whole community. It was plentiful, delicious, and almost too beautiful to eat. The home-cooked appearance stirred something childlike in me, filling me with warmth and wonder even before I took the first bite. And every bite after that lived up to the promise.
I believe this is a Puerto Rican restaurant, and if you speak Spanish, you’ll feel especially at home. But even without it, the grace, humility, and quiet joy of the people here speak volumes. There's a peaceful goodness in the way they serve you—genuine, grounded, and full of heart.
Thank you, Mi Antojito, for making my day feel brighter, fuller, and just a little...
