Moon City Pub — Restaurant in Springfield

First time I went there the short skinny bartender with the cap just ignored me and helped others who came in after me... So I left. I was going to eat and have a beer. Gave them another chance with my girlfriend and the older lady was nice. The $3 miller light beer was cool and we tipped good. The 3rd time I went alone and ate. The Quesapizza was good. I asked the Same bartender Jesse how much the beer was? He said $4. While he was at the register I asked him I thought they were $3 like last time? He mumbled or stuttered .. "they're $3.25-3.50, $4". gibberish.. 😂.. huh.. that didn't make sense? What is it? Just be honest and say what the real price is man... I then said whatever man! well I got charged $3.75 ea. after all. I was going to leave a $5 tip, but you don't have to lie and nickel and dime people. Keep your prices consistent, especially on the cheapest beer bro. You ask me for an I d. Or card to hold onto but I saw you give away a beer, shot to one guy and a beer to a lady without asking for their cards. I'm new to Springfield, but this guy is shady.. I'm never going back. When you grab a drink here, you're always sharing it with a friend. The best owners, and clientele you'll ever find. Realistically priced items in a constantly contemporary theme (Festive decorations/food specials throughout the year). It's my favorite bar in town and the best people you could have to shoot the breeze with while you do it. No matter how busy the place gets, Terri and Jesse and Corey make sure you get to appreciate the place regardless of your walk of life. Shoot some pool, go hang on the smoke deck, or just soak in one of their nightly events; You're only ever making time with good people as opposed to killing it when you're sat at this...

We love the patio cat MOONPIE! Moonpie is the best bar kitty. She is always happy to greet you on the patio as long as you're willing to give her some pets. She is a sweet chubby kitty. The atmosphere is what you'd expect from a locals' bar in that there is a strong regulars presence. That said, sometimes you walk in and feel at home and sometimes you feel like a stranger. It's very much a feel the vibes place. The pricing is fair, the patio cat is the cutest loaf, and it is clear the owners put their heart into the business.
