We ordered pizza to go & brought home to Lowell which is about 20+ minutes from town. Of course then at home the pizza always needs to be reheated & this can lead to an over cooked pizza. Not this place, the pizza was still AMAZING!! Best pizza I've had in along time. Granted I haven't had papas for a year or so since its not the most convenient locations for me. But maybe its time to start going a lil outta my way, to get a better quality Pizza. We a Large pizza that was half Combination w extra veggies & half Hawaiian with extra cheese on the whole thing. We also brought home a small pepperoni pizza but after trying the others I was too full to try the pepperoni. For those 2 pizzas that fed 4 people with lots of leftovers, we spent under $50

We had my Granddaughter's 2nd Birthday party here. We didnt buy the Birthday package, we just chose to have her Birthday here. Reasons being, great play area & believe it or not, its her favorite pizza! Been eating here for years & their lunchtime all you can eat, pizza, salad bar & bottomless non alcohol beverage offering for under $7.00 is the best, gluttonous, lunch deal around.

Update! We just had a birthday party for my son on Saturday and the staff were all so nice. This was my 6 year old son's ONLY choice! We love this location for their lunch buffet and playplace! The pizza is really good and the salad bar is my favorite! I do wish there was some sort of deal though, because I spent $260 and didn't get any discounts.

Papa's Pizza in Eugene, Oregon, has been a local institution since its establishment in 1971. Founded by David Weber, the original location opened on West 11th Avenue with a vision of providing not just tasty pizza, but also a welcoming environment for families. Over the years, Papa's Pizza has become known as a place for birthday parties and family gatherings, with many Oregonians cherishing childhood memories made at their parlors. What to Expect: Papa's Pizza prides itself on a more traditional approach to pizza making. They use freshly made dough daily, along with homemade sauces and a generous amount of toppings. This commitment to quality ingredients and consistent recipes has helped them maintain a loyal customer base for over five decades. Menu Highlights: The menu at Papa's Pizza is quite extensive, offering a wide variety of options to cater to different tastes. You can find classic pizzas like pepperoni and Hawaiian, as well as specialty pies such as the taco pizza, which has garnered a dedicated following. They also offer vegetarian options and the ability to build your own pizza with a wide array of toppings, sauces (including traditional red, garlic ranch, refried bean, BBQ, and pesto), and cheese choices (with vegan Daiya cheese as a substitute available). Beyond pizza, Papa's Pizza also serves: Gourmet Flatbreads: With unique combinations like Cheesy Garlic Ranch and Classic Nacho. Sandwiches: Including French Dip, Roast Beef, and a unique Original Sandwich with ham, pepperoni, salami, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and spiced butter. Appetizers: Such as breadsticks (plain or cheesy), cheesy fries, chicken strips, and wings (Buffalo, BBQ, sweet chili, or plain). Salad Bar: Offering a variety of fresh ingredients. Pasta: Though details on specific pasta dishes weren't prominent in the search results. Desserts: To round out your meal. They also have a kid's menu featuring mini pizzas and chicken nuggets. Ambiance and Features: Papa's Pizza parlors are designed with a family-friendly atmosphere in mind. Many locations feature covered play areas, making them a popular choice for families with young children. They also have banquet facilities available for larger groups and events. Community Involvement: Beyond serving pizza, Papa's Pizza has a history of community involvement, hosting fundraisers for local schools, charities, and medical causes. This dedication to the community further strengthens their connection with the families they serve. Locations: Currently, Papa's Pizza operates several locations across Oregon, including Eugene, Springfield, and Corvallis. Overall: Papa's Pizza appears to be a long-standing and well-regarded pizza parlor in the Eugene area. It's known for its family-friendly environment, quality ingredients, and a diverse menu that goes beyond just pizza. While some online reviews might express varying opinions on the pizza itself, many appreciate the nostalgic value and the welcoming atmosphere, especially for families with children. If you're looking for a casual spot with a play area for kids and a wide range of pizza and other food options, Papa's Pizza could be a...

I just spent $60 on two medium pizzas after waiting in a long line. As is customary, I then went to get drinks in your drink line. After waiting again at the drink register, the shift manager refused to sell me drinks there. The manager showed no concern, made no effort to resolve the situation, and instead told me I would need to go back and wait in the pizza order line again (another 30-minute wait), even though I had just purchased pizzas.

Your business has operated with this model since I was a kid, and I’ve been a loyal customer for over 30 years. I also observed other customers experiencing the same frustration, yet I saw the manager allow someone else to cut back in line rather than address the issue fairly. Eventually, I even observed staff, including the shift manager, in the back laughing about it, as though the lack of service was entertaining. It appeared that the shift manager was more interested in closing shop early on a Friday night than in solving problems for customers.

This lack of customer care, refusal to address obvious issues, and failure to provide basic communication (such as instructing the pizza line register to also take drink orders) reflects very poorly on your establishment.

UPDATE FROM OWNER RESPONSE:

Thank you for your reply. I appreciate the acknowledgment and apology, but I feel my concerns were not fully addressed.

The problem was not simply a register being shut down late in the evening. The issue is the lack of customer service and problem-solving when this happens. As I described, the shift manager made no effort to resolve the situation for me, treated customers inconsistently, and even allowed others to bypass the system while asking me to wait in line again after already purchasing food. Witnessing staff laughing about customers’ frustration only compounded the poor experience. You have not addressed this.

What steps will you take to ensure that customers don’t have to wait in multiple lines for food and drinks when it was clearly their very small mistake? It is your business model not mine.

How will you ensure that managers are trained to respond professionally and equitably when issues arise? And also not laugh unprofessionally in the back?

Without meaningful changes, it is difficult to feel confident about returning and do not plan to come...

Went there for my friends 9year old kids birthday party, and was treated like dirt. Mom of birthday boy went to get a beer and the staff member refused to serve her because her "eyes looked glossy". She was wearing contacts. Then I went to get a beer and was asked what party I'm with. When I told the same staff member and asked why she said "just wondering" and told me I was short 50 cents to buy it. She took that time that I went to get more money to bring in the manager for the day. He then questions me about which party I'm with and if I'm buying this drink for myself or the person they refused service to. I said "I'm just buying a beer" and the manager began to speak to me rudely and accuse me of going behind the back of the company to serve a customer they refused to serve. He continued to argue with me until he blatantly said I wasn't buying my drink for me and refused to serve me as well!! I asked for the managers boss he said he was the manager and I asked again he said he'd be there on Monday. I asked the rude employee what made her think Birthday boys mom was drinking and she told me "I refuse to answer any of your questions" I asked for her name and she flat ignored me and refused to look at me or acknowledge that I was speaking!! I asked the manager refusing me service the employees name and he refused to tell me!! I will be bringing this to the general manager and as high up as I can go until somebody resolves the atrocious behaviour of the management and staff on November 3rd, after 2:30pm. My friend and I were the only people of color there and also the only people refused service and talked to in a rude way. It ruined the rest of the birthday for us, and it made it even worse that the manager told me to either stop talking about the issue and go back to the party or be kicked out. And of course that would mean the birthday boy would lose two friends from his party so I sat down to not ruin...
