Peking House — Restaurant in Springfield

I will be completely honest, I ordered from this Restaurant last Sunday on January the 8th of 2015 in the evening. I ordered beef and broccoli with white rice and separate order of General Tso's Chicken, which came with 3 egg rolls with an order of crab rangoons. The restaurant doesn't take debit or credit card. The clerk that took my call was polite and patient. When I received the order it took more than 30 minutes due to weather of snowstorm. The food arrived stale and under cooked. The General Tso's chicken tasted like mush and weird which caused me to gag the food it also resembled and reminded me of the alien sci-fi flick from the early 80's "the thing". The Egg rolls were under cooked which I have evidence on that. the beef and broccoli usually has that dark creamy gravy. but this one tasted dried and had no gravy. The crab rangoons were stale and soft as if it where not fried, me and my friend had to re-fry the crab rangoons over again. I called Peking House and asked to speak to the Manager and the Manager in conclusion was very cheap and petty. He informed me to wait outside while the delivery man brings me back "half of the money" for partial part of the food that was eaten per discovery that the food was very unpleasant. I tried to mediate and come out with a more appropriate option, I asked him if he can bring the freshly cooked food of the same order and I'll give him the old order that was under cooked. And the manager refused, he mentioned that he doesn't do "discounts" either, his excuse for the food was the fault of the "weather" (snowstorm). Also to top this off, this restaurant is not listed in the Better Business Bureau, not sure if this Restaurant is running legally or not but despite of that there is a food safety concern embroidered on this restaurant. In addition after the meal , I felt nauseated, disgusted and un-satisfied by the meal. Will never order from this...

I always order there live close buy I love the stemmed dumplings and the soy sauce and I love the god I'm addicted to this only place for take out its Ither here or dominos and I hate pizza I can finish all the Chinese food I normally spend 20$ to 30$ easy on a Friday or Saturday and have it delivers the food comes very hot and I like that its always fresh they over ride my cravings for I choose this paticuler take out every time ad no other lol my boyfriend for years always gets the half a chicken and French grys idk he never exploring there mor options he just loves it and I do agree theres something about there fries that taste so good like they r chicken or a meat lol I can never get my fries to taste that good and I been to chicken places that make fired chicken and friys and they suck I give it five starts Vanessa that's me keep up the...

Good chinese food, but the service is awful! Asked for two orders of 16 piece buffalo wings when I got there they messed up my order and tried giving me (4) small orders of regular wings. When I told them about the mistake the cook that wrote down my order began to argue with me about what I said over the phone. Believe me when I tell you I said buffalo wings because I wrote down everyones order on a seperate piece of paper before placing the order. Than the cook put his hand up like he wanted me to stop talking when I began to explain to him that theres no 16 piece regular wing on the menu(only small and large) so I dont know how he could get them confused.
