I was there today it was pretty busy and hacked it weather was bad spend it $71 dollars on four sandwich sandwiches was pretty big almost a whole loaf of bread the sandwiches but I asked about my bill can they please break it down because I felt like $71 was a little excessive for four sandwich six sugar donuts a quesito and a malta they broke it down and I was fine with it after that I had to wait 30 minutes for my order to come up I asked before my 30 minutes was over to find out hey I see that I haven't gotten my sandwiches and the cook big guy behind the counter on the flat grill had an issue with me asking I walked away pretty much ignored him and politely waited for my order to come up got home and one of the sandwich was a bacon egg and cheese minus the eggs I called the store asked to speak to manager manager wasn't there I left my number for manager to call me back and see if he can remedy the mis-order 5 hours ago it is now 5:00 and never got a call back I think I would not be returning there I will not spend my heart on money when I feel that no responsibility is taken when a miss order occurs I understand we're all humans and we all make mistakes but I spend it a good amount of money there on the regular basis and was just asked if that could be fixed either in a discount next time I come or maybe a discount on the order itself but was not contacted so I would not be returning

Ordered two empanadas (one pollo/chicken, one beef/carne), and two quesitos (plain/regular/only cream cheese, no guava). Delicious. $10.50. Paid with a card. FWIW, I'm a white Irish-Mexican who is pasty white with freckles and two Littles (1 & 4) and they were very kind to me, with my Spanglish. She didn't even bat an eye when I called them Pastelillos (the empanadas). 🤣 She spoke back to me in Spanish mostly, but also some English. It was a great chance to me to practice Spanish (I'm not from the area). Parking is one way (we saw people trying to back out and leave the wrong way). Tight squeeze for a mini van. Quick and easy. Affordable. Near the Springfield Museums. Parking was free and off-street. Wish we'd bought only one quesito (it was huge) and 4+ empanadas (as an adult, I could have eaten 2-3; my 4yo could have eaten 2!).

Omg the food is so good. One of my friends told me to try their seafood soup omg so delicious. They have a couple of their other food that taste really. The only that sucks they be busy all the time so if your in a rush this is not the place for you and if you don't mind waiting it would be worth the wait. Omg I had to try the mondongo the first time I got a small the first time and then the second time I had to get a large because the small was a tease.

Honest review I love the food and prices are where they should be but avoid rush hour at the restaurant you’ll be waiting a while. Avoid the weekends early afternoon not unless you have time and patience. Also parking isn’t great and when you can’t find it you don’t know where to park because it’s in a small location. The restaurant needs to be clear as to how many lines their are and what can be ordered at that line. They can say their are signs but it needs to be more clear because customers who are not regulars get lost and end up cutting line and not even know it. I have gotten mad over this line situation and even left a couple of times and I’m sure I’m not the only one. Today I ordered a sandwich thought I was going to be satisfied with it but when I can home it was soggy and just disappointing mind you I love their food but since I had to wait a while because the front cashier was nowhere to be found so the lady working the next area had to stop doing what she was doing to help out because the line was out the door at this point. I also wanted to say the lady who took care of me was frustrated but she was very polite so thank you to who ever took care of me. I’m not bashing the restaurant I’m a regular but they do need to do something about the issues they have there because I’m sure I’m not the only one who have...

Came here on a Saturday evening. The first staff member my wife and I interacted with was very rude. It was our first time and we were asking for specific dishes and she gave rude answers. My wife was immediately put off by her attitude and didn't want to eat. I ordered pastelitos, white rice with beef stew, and fried wings for my girls. I went back to the counter and noticed another area which had other options such as pulled pork (pernir) and other native Puerto Rican dishes. Another staff member helped me and won me over with her nice attitude and caring demeanor which reminded me of the real Puerto Ricans who are caring and loving. She could've been the owner or someone who actually cares about customers. I ended up getting a mofongo with pernir (mashed fried plantains with pork) and cuajito which I don't know exactly what it is but my mom used to make a lot. The food was good and my wife liked the mofongo. Overall its a nice place to get some quick food and either eat there...
