Squacho's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Springfield

First off I'm a line cook that's worked my way through Michelin starred spots and 👌 👏 😍. Whatever you guys are doing keep it up I am throughly impressed. Good food is hard to find these days but they do it well here. The burger is juicy and the bun is crisp and buttery in all the right places. The fries are done right and fresh cut and the chili is...tangy yet mild and smooth at the same time. All the sauces are house made and delicious. I personally like the squatchup with the loaded fries. The burgers have that fresh ground taste one usually finds at cookouts with that one uncle who cares where the meat comes from 🤣🤣. And the creme de la creme so to say is that my grandfather is in late stages dementia and extremely picky about his food and usually only eats 4 or 5 bites of stuff on good days lately and today he ate the whole burger loaded fries and some of my loaded pulled pork fries lol. So overall if you're looking to get back every cent you spend here in quality of food service and leave throughly impressed and wowed then stop on by and treat yourself while also helping ensure a absolute gem 💎 is always here for our community cause this is the type of place you'll talk about years to come and idk if it's their plan to ever become a brick and mortar but food this good would quickly become a iconic local spot and personally I'm here for it. And from a grandson who's more often than not as of late spent sleepless nights trying to find ways to get him to eat...I can sleep in peace tonight knowing he's fed and happy one more day. $90.28 = 1 plain hotdog, 1 chili dog, 1 BBQ burger single patty, 1 lemonade, and 4 12 oz pints that are ridiculously served in 16 oz glasses. Question for owner: How is that possible, and why do you serve expensive beer that looks like half of it spilled on the way to your table? 2 adults and 1 child means it was $30 each. Servers don't print out or show your itemized ticket. They bring a tablet showing only a screen to tip and sign while they hold on to it; awkward. Slow service every time despite not being very busy, Nachos were bad 1st visit, my burger was good our 2nd visit, but $90+ for the above order?? You've gotta be kidding me. Karaoke was fun but won't be going back, unfortunately. Also, the decor needs help, with a Medusa head on the wall and chalk writing on a painted wall, it reminds me of a college dorm room. Upstairs is cluttered, disorganized, and unwelcoming. Would love an explanation from the owner on how my tab was almost $100 for the items listed above, and why all beers are...

Update a month later 4/2025: We decided to eat here again bc it was so good at the restaurant but this time we tried delivery via DoorDash and wanted to try their famous nachos. We weren’t sure if the nachos would travel well, but sooo glad we took the risk! These homemade chips are thick and really perfectly crispy! Even after traveling almost to the Pleasant Hill! Wow 10/10. We had the Pulled Pork Nachos and next time we’re trying the Squancho Nachos!

3/2025: First time eating here and I thought the food was delicious. Fresh cut steak fries, fry sauce, and the burger was perfectly cooked. I thought it was missing the onion rings on the burger but maybe I ordered the wrong one. It did have pineapple and candy jalepenos though and they were so good.
