Went to pick it up and wasn’t even greeted and it wasn’t because they were busy; they were watching television and sitting down. Especially as a new business, you would assume a welcoming environment is top priority. We ordered Mac and cheese, a pulled pork sandwich and a brisket sandwich. Mac and cheese was flavorful but loaded with parsley that it ruined it along with the pool of grease at the bottom. Pulled pork had a metal tasting sauce, couldn’t even finish it. Along with the fact that there are onions on it which is not listed anywhere on their menu. Some people are allergic to onions so hopefully they will consider updating their menu to reflect what is actually in their food. My husband said his brisket was good in terms of texture - moist and juicy. Sauce was again a bit off. Fries that came with both sandwiches were crispy but so loaded with salt so we didn’t eat them. I have passed by this place multiple times and always wanted to stop. Glad I finally did. The owner/chef was so nice and he knows his craft. He is very selective on his choice of meet and suppliers which was evident when my meal came. the brisket slices in my dinner were lean and moist brisket with a gentle smoke ring and great flavor. It takes a deft hand to go from not enough smoke to too much smoke and this chef knows how to find the balance. Very well done. While the meat was very good, the star for me was the greens. Reminded me of my grandmothers kitchen with just a hint of vinegar in them and meat added for flavor. The green beans were also very good. I can't wait to go back and try the beef ribs on...

Man this place is fantastic! My coworkers and I came in for lunch and we all had different things - everything was fantastic. I had the brisket sandwich and is was excellent! The sides are also great. The BBQ fried rice was probably the best fried rice I've ever had - including from Chinese restaurants! Definitely check this place out. There's very little seating so getting take out is probably the easiest option. This place just opened recently, and I hope they get the recognition...
