We have ordered from this establishment for several years and have always loved it! However, the last 4 times we’ve ordered from there, the food was dried up, over cooked and sad. Very embarrassing because we usually are ordering party sized pizzas because we’re having company. Tonight we tried again. My daughter ordered a party sized BBQ chicken pizza. I picked it up on the way home. When we tasted it, there was absolutely no BBQ sauce at all on it. It was also supposed to have onions, but there was not even a spec. The pizza tasted like chicken parm. There was a hint of spaghetti sauce, there was a hint of cheese and it was over cooked again! When she called, she was told she could eat it or bring it back. I mentioned that I picked it up on my way home and now had to go back out into the snow. I asked if they can send a delivery person here with the correct pizza and I would give them this garbage one. They’ve delivered here quite often, so I know it wasn’t too much to ask. We also had an issue a few years ago and that’s what happened. When we order a few years ago, they were also VERY custom service oriented. Today, they could not care less. I did not demand a refund, I only wanted the pizza we payed for. Our ticket said BBQ, extra chicken & extra sauce. All we got was disappointment. We will never recommend or go to them again. Read moreI’ve been coming to pizza works for years now and truth be told I love their pizza and food in general. However I’m ashamed to say that today will be the last time I order from them. I was told that placing my French fries in the same container as my buffalo dipped wings was a curtesy, on their behalf. Now I don’t know about you but I happen to like crispy fresh French fries and not soggy wet French fries. The woman’s deliverance in tone was careless and detached, while I politely mentioned that the fries were cold and soggy. When I asked if it was possible to get new fries she simply said that was not something they do. And that next time I would have to ask for the fries to be separated from the wings and I will be charged an additional $1.00 for a separate container. Unfortunately this is information I simply didn’t know because normally when I purchase fries it’s along side my grinder. I just find it astonishing that after spending $50.00 towards this establishment and providing a countless number of paying customers towards this establishment, that they would so carelessly allow a customer to be dissatisfied with their meal. In anyway I wish them the best. I hope that they grow to value the presentation of their food and the satisfaction of their customers who in fact spend their hard earned money to purchase their amazingly tasty pizza. Read moreI just ordered a calzone with no onions and received the order with onions. There are several factors that make this post worthy:
I ordered my çalzone at 11:30 am and received it at 12:15 pm because the driver went to the wrong address (though it was printed correctly on the receipt,).
The driver, though apologetic, confused my address with another customer and because those interactions have been problematic, he had an attitude with me. In fairness to him, once he realized the mistake, he did apologize. ( But didn't offer me the tip back either for his mistake...I am digressing...)
I called before the driver arrived and learned that the system had gone down and obviously this is where the unwanted onions became the replacement for mushrooms.
I called and was told that they would remake the calzone but I explained that I was no longer at work but in my class and would not have the flexibility to leave class to get my food, so I asked if it might be something I could get later today or tomorrow and was told no.
The disregard and mishandling of customers made this an awful experience today. The only reason this was a 2 and not a 1 star post is because my orders are usually fine. But to not remedy the situation??
