Wendy's — Restaurant in Springfield

Cashier was very friendly, nuggets/jr bacon good fresh, 4 star cuz fries were subpar. 9/23 UPDATE: FORGET THAT Old review! I spent the majority of the next day, in the BATHROOM, after eating there in the evening. I knew something was off when my Spicy chicken nuggets had a bad-fish taste to them. (And there was something off with my Jr.Bacon, I just can't remember what it was. Im writing this 3wks later) But I was hungry and thought "Maybe they just cooked fish in same oil"... WELL, On my 7000 trip to the bathroom next day and replaying "Wendy's" and the chaotic, parents-left-the kids-home, atmosphere, It dawned on me what I had been looking at. The guy standing next to fryer, with plastic gloves on, that were covered in Nasty/Old grease, But the bag of Old frying oil was the most Disgusting- Old- Super Thick- Literally Like a Bag of vomit looking-fry oil I've ever seen, Was in the process of either just swapping out old w/new or maybe they were actually cleaning it. (Not sure cuz he was yelling/laughing back n forth with other employees the whole time) Long story short, 1. Realized that I hadn't "imagined" my Chicken smelling fishy/tasting bad. And Why I was in the bathroom...

My sister and I ordered ahead because the line tends to be pretty extreme at this Wendy's in the evening. Being right about the long wait time, we head inside only to be told that our order is not in the system. The clerk kept calling a different name close to ours but the order didn't look the same. Seems to me she gave away our order and didn't want to admit fault. It also seemed like the lady was just going to shrug us away, until my sister spoke Spanish, something the clerk didn't know we understood. Now for whatever reason she sees to fixing the problem. It becomes hard to take you guys seriously as business when you keep 50 year old children at the front desk. Don't be sorry just be...

Truthfully, my friend and I waited and watched employees stand around while pushing drive thru orders out. But a couple in front of us, us and a gentlemen behind us, who got tired of waiting left. We waited in line, watched your employees literally stand around didn't even attempt to take any of our orders for over 10 -15 minutes. The people in front of us left swearing. My girlfriend and I had to go back up to the counter for spoons because we both ordered chili we were handed one spoon I had to ask if we were suppose to share a spoon between the two of us and was then handed a second spoon. That store definately needs some attention before we ever return...
