Wendy's — Restaurant in Springfield

This Wendys is phenomenal. The amount of times I have been to this Wendys at approximately 10PM to 1AM at night is countless. Though, for all these nightly food runs I have made there has been 0 occurences of a messed up order, a rude employee, or a bad experience overall. I have talked about writing this review for a little while and finally taking the time to write it, I guess I should call this a Christmas present for the night shift team for dealing with my shenanigans. Now, no more of the story talk (there might be more) but lets talk about "My order." I always come into the drive-thru ordering a "Dave's Triple Large Meal" my drink usually consists of a Sweet Tea or Coke (Depends on mood and if they have sweet tea at the time). I have multiple moments of laughing with the employees and sadly I remember one specific manager who was always there every night and she is one of the sweetest people I ever met. Now there is a male manager that is super cool too I respect him a lot. Though, the main reason I write this review is to show my full appreciation to the staff for always making my order correct and being quick with it as well. These people work hard and lots of people come into the drive-thru at night getting half the menu and it does make me a little sad if the person hates it taking so long because if you got 3 biggie bags and a meal its not gonna take 3 minutes like everyone else getting one meal or something small. This team is just outstanding and after a little while I finally write this review to show my sheer happiness of all the orders I have received.

All respect to the 1000th Wendys and the staff team. I will for sure be around for the Dave's Triple for a little bit.

I will preface this by saying that the staff members of this Wendy's are top-notch! The two ladies i interacted with this morning were absolutely lovely. :) Now, to my assessment of the food I bought today. This was the first time I had tried breakfast at Wendy's. It was a tremendous disappointment, which was absolutely no fault of the staff members. They can only use the ingredients provided to them. I got two English muffin sandwiches, one egg and cheese, and one sausage and cheese. The muffins had a strange texture, sort of bun-like, and they disintegrated easily. That would have been something I could have overlooked if not for the fact that they tasted horribly sweet. It did not pair well with the egg or the sausage. The cheese completely disappeared into the muffin, and I could not taste it at all. The egg was standard and inoffensive. The sausage was okay. It was slightly spicy, but I have a low spice tolerance. In future, I may try Wendy's breakfast again, but it will absolutely not involve any more...

Recently moved to Springfield and been here a few times. I really like the breakfast croissant sandwich .

However, their lunch and dinner is something left to be desired.

I ordered a potato, no condiments, so I ate the potato plain. Ordered the double cheeseburger, the bun was old and hard, burger was dry and old and they did not season it.

Ordered 2 kids meals and the lady prepping it touch the fries and nuggets with her bare-hands, after touching her face.

The fries that came with the adult combos were actually fresh and good.

I also ordered the grilled chicken, which was ok but could’ve used more sauce.

All the staff seemed tired and did not want to be there. I asked for a drink with no ice and they gave me the cup and said “do it yourself.”

After all the food was made, they forgot my 2nd drink and, having three bags, I had to ask for the bigger one.

A positive, the restaurant was clean.

My advice, come for breakfast, go somewhere else for...
