Kay's Donuts — Restaurant in Springtown

Usually it's hard to find a bad donut... But stale and multi-day old.... This is the place.. unless their style of cooking is so different than others.. but dry and hard? For example, our order was the buttermilk style, it should be crisp exterior, soft interior.. and I've had this style 2nd day on my own from other places, these were 3 day or possibly longer.. The cinnamon sugar raised also on our order was dry and flavorless...too much cinnamon to sugar ratio...

And this type of result isn't the first time like this here.. so one day, we may try them one more time, but that's the last if it's a repeat. With the higher costs nowadays, the business owners expects us to pay it, they need to produce it and step it up also... Not raising prices and cheapening...

If you want FLAVORFUL & DELICIOUS donuts with a fast & friendly staff, look no further than Kay's! I'm telling you that Kay has the secret touch when it comes to donuts... these things beat Krispy Kreme in my opinion. There's something about her icing and dough that makes these things unlike any donuts you've had before (and that combination makes these so addictive)!! I've taken them to work (in NRH) before, and people want to know where they came from because they're that good. I'm telling you, if you want the best donuts you've ever tasted, head to Kay's... you won't be sorry!! PS. Head there early in the morning and hopefully you'll get some fresh ones right off the rack... they'll MELT in...

They have good food but I stood in line with my 3 yr old grandson for close to 30 minutes and watched the lady behind the counter laugh and joke with all the people in the lobby and then when I got up to the counter it was an instant change, she went cold, quit smiling, went in the back and hollered at people about where they were and then came back out and was at best cordial bordering on rude. I was beyond confused, because I didn't do anything at all. I ordered 3 dozen donuts because I had 8 teenage boys at home to feed. It was close to 9 30ish in the morning. So it wasnt super late.
