Went in to get some ice cream today. The staff was friendly enough and served our ice cream with reasonable promptness, but I was shocked by the price compared to the portion. Asking for a scoop nets you roughly a rounded out table spoon of product for a cool $4.50ish.
I'm not saying I needed a massive portion of ice cream, in fact the smaller size might be a good thing, but the price of said tiny portion is absurd. Comparatively, even the creameries in Mountain Brook are far more reasonably priced in an area where everything is expensive.
Additionally, the ice cream itself is very mediocre. You can basically pick up equal or better quality at any local grocery store. You can even spring for the premium stuff and still feel like you got a deal compared to this place.
