Part 1. 2/5 Look… we’ve been here twice and we’ll definitely eat here again. The service is phenomenal and the food comes out crazy fast and seems fresh. BUT- the food is so over hyped. My husband says the burger is great. I don’t eat meat so I can’t speak to it still. First time I got a fried green tomato BLT (hold the B lol). It was hands down the greasiest sandwich I’ve ever eaten. Thankfully I had a pack of wipes on the table, though meant for my baby. Second time I learned they have a garden plate- pick 4 sides. The asparagus has a great flavor but is SO salty. So much so that I didn’t feel comfortable giving it to my baby. Also it’s a very small serving compared to a normal side of asparagus at most places. The “smoked Gouda” Mac and cheese is good.. but has no detectable smoked Gouda flavor. The squash casserole is way too peppery and honestly… just gross. My baby liked it? But he eats everything… The fried green tomatoes need some seasoning in the breading, they were just kind of bland. There’s a few things that they do good. Like, really good. The fries, the fried pickles, the onion rings, and the bread pudding. For a non-meat eater, I was excited to see so many side options but drastically less excited now that I know that half of them aren’t good. And of course the rest of the menu may be amazing, and like I said- we’ll be back.

Part 2. 4/5 We came back. Still great and speedy service. Got the garden plate again. This time I got fried green tomatoes, fried okra, cheese grits, and mashed potatoes. The cheese grits and okra were some of the best I’ve ever had. The mashed potatoes were just “eh” and they tasted strangely bacon-y (though I didn’t see any in there) which I don’t appreciate as a vegetarian, if there is bacon grease in there. The fried green tomatoes were thick and cooked perfectly, but they still just lack something. Maybe even just salt in the breading? The sauce it comes with tastes great, but I don’t want sauce to do all the heavy lifting. I want to be able to taste the tomato, ya know? My husband tried a new burger and said it was good, just a touch over cooked. We like this place, just wish they could work out some of the smaller things so I’m leaving...

I live in this town. I have spent thousands of dollars here. Every order I place is $80 or so plus tip. Feeds 4 people. With our limited selection of restaurants ive been forced to continue to give them another shot. The food is good! Unfortunately everything else is bad. I get 75% of our meals to go. 100% of the time it's missing stuff. It's become a family joke. Tonight, after ordering $80 of food my son went to pick it up. He was told they accidentally gave our order to someone else and would re-do our whole meal. Thanks alot!! So kind!! He waited another 20 min. When he arrived home 3 of the 4 meals were wrong! Iam now extremely disappointed. I was somewhat disappointed 2 month ago when I received wrong food, called and expressed the issue and was told so sorry you have a credit for that meal here. It took a few weeks for the bad taste to wear off and we decided to try it again. When I told them about the credit I was supposed to have they informed me that "the note has been taken off the register". I spoke to a manger and was told "if we just gave out free food to everyone we wouldn't be here". I replied, so what your saying is you dont believe me? She kindly said I believe you but your note has been removed!!! They had seen my "credit" apparently hanging on the register for a month but now that it has been removed, im screwed. I had asked for the owner or someone of authority to call me. My number was taken and i was told "good luck, he probably wont call you"! She was correct. I am. So disappointed that springville has to put up with this. It wouldn't take much for this place to be fantastic but until they can figure out how to get their act together this will continue to be an issue. I will update on this post if I recieve a call, a remedy, an apology! If I get ignored like the last few times, I will do my best to post everywhere, anywhere, boycott, March with street signs in front of them , do my best to let the public know the treatment my family receives. I feel stupid for continuing to spend money there and hoping for a different outcome! Insanity?? 1st time shame on you, 2nd,3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, 7th, time...

I was excited to try this place out! It's a nice, small, cozy restaurant that was clean. The server didn't seem to happy to be at work, she was short with us and snippy. I ordered the pork belly with Mac n cheese, the pork belly was warm not hot and the Mac n cheese was barely warm and cool. I said something to my server and her solution was that she'd pop it in a microwave and warm it up. I didn't pay to get reheated food, I wanted my meal hot n ready. The taste of the pork belly was amazing on the pieces you could chew. There were a few pieces that were cooked so long that they were so hard you couldn't even chew them, hell I couldn't even cut them with the knife provided. Not sure if I'll go back, I had great expectations but not great results. A bit snippy in your response sir, so I definitely will not be back and furthermore will not recommend this establishment to anyone. Also, to answer your snoody response she said she'd heat it up real quick so I ASSUMED she meant a microwave. How else would you heat it up real quick??!?! If you place it in an oven that will take atleast 5 min. But I appreciate your response, it lets me know what kind of establishment you run and what kind of...
