Do not waste your time going to this place when in the temperature of the restaurant is 85° when it's 100° outside people want to sit down an air conditioning understand things break things happen but still sit down finally get someone to take our order then we get our drinks never to see that waitress again so then they bring the food out and that waitress asked what do we need condiment wise and we tell them we need cocktail sauce and tartar sauce well we never saw her again and we never got our condiments then we eat our entire meal with no condiments it was how do you say enough to get by but when I can make better food at my own home than a restaurant I will never be going to that restaurant again sat there over 20 minutes never got a refill then a third waitress comes by and says do you want to refill so yes we want one because it's 85° in your restaurant we're sitting here sweat dripping off our faces and we can't even get one single refill that's pretty pathetic then I sat there additional 20 minutes until another waitress comes by asking if we want our check or any to-go drinks I said I can't even get here drinks I dare not ask for to go drinks when I received my bill I walk to the front counter there's no one there to even ring us up so I'm supposed to stand in the sweltering Cesspool of a restaurant waiting to be checked out I almost walked out the door but luckily I had cash and I slapped it on the counter walked across the street and I purchased drinks there since I couldn't receive any that I paid for at the sorry restaurant. Apparently word on the street is after talking with the store owner across the street no one's impressed with this place high prices you receive 8 jumbo shrimp for around $18 so after taxes you're almost paying $3 a shrimp are you kidding me I will never be returning to this place the poor country folk of Springville will try anything they'll make do for a little bit but this restaurant will go out of business because they're not going to pay these high prices receive this mediocre food and piss...
Read moreCan't believe they don't serve Baked potatos with seafood, especially shrimp. Parking very limited. Pulled in on motorcycle and started to park in the one spot available, I'm 76yr.old and capable of walking, but when I saw a family of six searching for a parking space I backed out to alow them to have mine as I notice a parking spot in front with ample space. Parked there was thanked for allow room for a family to park. Went inside and was immediately met by middle aged gentleman who stated I could not park where I did, eventhough I was not blocking anyone. I have parked there 3 different times in the past. When I was told I could not park there my reply was, "No problem" and left to go elsewhere, NO arguments. I was not parked on sidewalk. This was the same person who told cashier they would not give a Retired Military Discount on "To go" orders, but would on Wednesdays if I "ate-in"....Again, no argument. Their parking policy and discount policy, which I never expect anyway for serving 22 years with 3 years in SE Asia is not understood, but convinced me enough to never go there again and to ensure others are informed of my experiences....All other employees were great...food...not so much...
Read moreLots of parking. Very clean inside and out. The staff was very friendly and helpful. This was our first visit. When ordering Fried Catfish: a Filet is a large piece of fish, Nuggets will be that Filet cut up in small pieces, Strips will be a Filet cut into three pieces. So if you order two Filets you will get 6 Strips. Just wanted to clarify that. The Fried Catfish is a generous amount of flaky fish, lightly battered, fried to perfection and barely to not seasoned. I enjoy good Catfish but this was not the best I have tasted, definitely needed salt. The mashed potatoes and baked beans were good but didn’t seem to be fresh made. I did absolutely love the cheese curds, there is nothing better than fried cheese. Do order this for an appetizer, you will not be disappointed. The Chocolate pie is served in a plastic carry out container, and it was very good but it was not Chocolate Silk Pie, it was old fashion Chocolate Pie with Meringue. No one else really raved about anything they had so I won’t comment on the other dishes. We probably will not visit this...
