Quik Wok — Restaurant in St. Ann

I visit this store before and have ordered their rice and it was okay. Just okay, but today I ordered chicken fried rice with white meat, chicken and an order of pot stickers. I asked for an additional pot sticker sauce which would have given me a total of 2 and was told that it would be a dollar more. I overlooked that, but when I got home to eat my rice, it tastes like minute rice with no flavor really really bland. I called the restaurant to let them know this and instead of just apologizing and offering me my money back. The guy got mad and said that no one else had told him that the food was bland. I didn't understand why should I have to go back-and-forth with him about this. He told me out of his own mouth, that it had no flavor so why sell it to me? He proceeded to show me how upset he was that I felt the food had no taste. Then instead of giving me my money back hey wanted to charge me an additional amount on my card. So they can refund it, but also telling me that my money would not be refunded until a few days, which makes no sense Upon leaving, he said to never come back to his restaurant to go somewhere else. I asked the woman if I heard him correctly. And she tried to avoid making this situation worse and told me that he did not say that, but that is clearly what he said. this restaurant food is hit-or-miss. He can't take the criticism for the fact that sometimes he has no flavor in his food.People do buy food from them because they seemed to be nice but he gets really mad. If you tell him that his food is not good. I will not be visiting this place anymore. And I do not recommend that anybody that likes flavor in their food to not go there. Because you will spend your money and he will get mad. In your face. He is the owner so I expected much...

This was my first time, I can honestly say that I wasn't disappointed, however I also wasn't wowed. I loved the drive thru, that was really convenient. Even with ordering at the window the wait wasn't long, which was Great! My food was hot and definitely made to order. Everything was good until I tried the shrimp fried rice. The rice wasn't bad however it was bland. The fried rice had a strange taste, probably from the shrimp. I'm not sure what it was, So I assumed it wasn't Seasoned . Therfore I went home and added garlic powder, onion powder, a few drops of LaChoy Soy Sauce and some red pepper and OMG tast like it came from the city. I gave Four stars only because mainly it was open on Sunday. Most Chinese restaurants are closed on Sundays. Then second it was the strange taste and lack of flavor, other than that...

Fried rice was a super dark brown mushy terrible tasting side that looks almost like a cobbler or something. Crab Rangoon was not good either. It lacked flavor and sort of resembled eating air. The General Tso's chicken was equally bad as everything else. Tasted like a ketchup sauce or maybe some kind of watered down sloppy joe sauce. Not that myself or anyone else really cares about this but don't forget to get yourself a statement cookie as opposed to a fortune cookie 😄.
