I had what could've been an absolute horrible experience end up being not so bad thanks to Jeri and Janine. We were in town and throwing our 6 year old a party and the main item was going to be his ice cream cake with a print out of a drawing he made. This was a party all based around this drawing which was a red character. We showed up and it was Yellow! And pretty horribly done. It was on the wrong way on the cake and it looked like the printer was out of ink but the person couldn't be bothered to make sure the drawing was at least the same color - which was red. It was honestly ridiculous in so many ways. I was about in tears and Jeri got Janine and she worked with us to at least make it as festive as possible with red icing. She a Jeri cared about how upset I was and did everything in their power to help fix it, especially since 'the girl' that handles this was not there. Whoever 'the girl' is though, I am not impressed. Overall, we will return and purchase from this DQ when...
Read moreWe visited this Dairy Queen restaurant on 3/22/24. We came in with my husband's certified trained service dog who was trained for 2/12 years and have the license. We was asked to leave and was refused service. The manager name Tanner told us we will need to show him paperwork on the service dog. I went on to explained to him that according to the LAW and the (ADA)American Disability Act, he has no legal right to ask for this information. I informed him that he was not informed on these laws. He told me per his boss (the owner) He was not allowed to let any service animals or dogs enter without this information. I have never felt so humiliated in my life and to be denied service and asked to leave was surely breaking the law on so many levels. Tanner refused to give me his boss/owner's name. I contacted the corporate office and filed a complaint and even the representative who took my complaint was surprised this happened. I will also be filing a complaint...
Read moreTook my boys to get dinner and ice cream because hey - I wasn’t in the mood to cook, plus they deserved a good treat. The line I will admit was long, but the wait was far from long and annoying. The service was friendly and straight to the point. No long wait at all - score!
Plus, they had dairy-free dilly bars! I had no clue so I figured why not try it and I will say, it’s just as tasty as the regular dairy dilly bar.
UPDATE: my son ordered a Dirt Pie blizzard and after digging and making ice cream soup, we didn’t spot a single gummy worm. Super disappointing because he was looking for it - that was lame. I asked for a second dipping sauce and didn’t get it. My sons split the 4 piece tossed and sauced chicken strips and didn’t want them sharing a dipping sauce - that was lame too because I ordered two...
