Disappointing Experience at Himalayan Sherpa Restaurant
I recently dined at Himalayan Sherpa restaurant, and unfortunately, my experience was far from satisfactory. The highlight of the evening was marred by an incident involving a billing error and the subsequent mistreatment by the server.
Upon reviewing the bill, I noticed an incorrect 18% fee added to our total. Politely bringing this to the server's attention should have resulted in a simple correction. However, the response I received was not only unprofessional but downright abusive. The server's rude behavior left me shocked and disappointed.
To be told, "You are never welcome here," is not only disheartening but completely uncalled for, especially considering it was their mistake in the first place. The ambiance and food quality were overshadowed by this regrettable encounter, leaving a lasting negative impression on what should have been an enjoyable dining experience.
I hope the management addresses these issues promptly, as such behavior is unacceptable in any establishment. I share this review in the hope that it contributes to improvements and ensures a more positive experience for...

Himalayan Sherpa Kitchen is pretty consistent; the food is seasoned; the dining room is fairly clean, and they have an outdoor sitting area. Good enough spot for lunch when in town.
We had: Lunch Lamb Tikka $15.95 (Served with a steamed Rice and some Buttered Naan Bread) In general, I like this dish. The sauce is always creamy and seasoned, but this time, the meat was dry.
Veggie Momo $11.50 Average steamed dumplings mildly seasoned.
Papadum $4.00 The best dish on the table. The lentil wafers have a proper thickness, nice crispiness but could have come with a wider variety of sauces.
Mango Lassi $4 Okayish. Had worse.

Had the pleasure of joining my friend Unnati and her daughter Heli for lunch at this hidden gem. I ordered the Coconut Tofu Mushroom Thali—light, fresh, mildly sweet, and incredibly easy on the stomach. It tasted like something made at home, not in a commercial kitchen.
The hospitality was sincere and thoughtful—the owners truly connect with each guest. We also tried the Veg Momos—while the momo itself was okay, the dipping sauce was absolutely amazing.
Only downside was the restroom—it could use a refresh—but otherwise a memorable, nourishing, and beautifully authentic experience. Will definitely return!
