This new R-Bar and Grill location is great! They just opened, so of course there are learning curves. Mostly, the kitchen. When we went, the place was packed and they have new chefs learning the menu, so the wait was long. The staff was extremely attentive while we waited for our food. The appetizers came out pretty fast though. We ordered the mozzarella sticks, and we both grabbed bites before I remembered to take a picture, lol. They come with 6 full sized sticks, not 4 with 2 more half eaten ones, lol. We also ordered the nachos with beef and that was a huge portion. I was pleasantly surprised that it was chopped steak, and not ground beef. We didn't get Jalapeños or salsa on them. It was delicious! The last thing we ordered was the chicken bacon ranch wrap. It came with a large portion of fries, and those were great. The sandwich could use a bit more bacon, as there didn't seem to be much in mine, but overall, a very solid sandwich. There is currently no kids menu, so be prepared to order adult sized meals for them, or have them share your food. They said in the upcoming weeks, they should have one ready! We will definitely be back to try more food. The tables around us all had delicious looking food too. They have a Facebook page for current info, R-Bar and Grill of St. John. Theyre waiting on the website to reflect their new location, and not just Highland

I stopped in for a bite, just getting off the road. Ordered fish tacos w/fries and a shrimp salad to go. When I returned home the salad was chicken...I called the restaurant and they fixed a new salad. The inconvenience of having to drive back was irritating, especially after being in the car for 5 hours. The staff was pleasant and corrected their error and included a complimentary soup as well. The food was decent. I enjoyed the spicy sauce on the tacos. Salad was basic and served its purpose. Their menu has a variety of items as well. Also, some specialty dishes. Drink specials looked fun! The atmosphere was friendly while I waited for my order. Lots of people at the bar and others at the tables enjoying their meals. There are lots of screens for sports watching too.

This place is by far the worst. Nothing like the one in Highland. My party sat down and no waitress came to the table. I had to ask for a waitress and when she came, she by far acted and was the most miserable human being. Only came to the table one time and I had to go up to the front and ask for a manager. As I waited for the manager, the hostess proceeded to tell me that I was an ignorant person, and began arguing with me because I stated the service was horrible, then the manager came, and she was as ignorant as her staff. I will never go back to this establishment ever again and will tell everyone I know how shitty this place is. We went over to 41 North ran into some friends who said they went to R-Bar next door and stated the exact same thing about it and stated that they would never step foot into that...
