12:30 I took my husband for a early Father's Day for lunch. Place really busy. My beliefs are if few people there is a reason for it. I ordered a Minnesota hamburger with wildrice and cheese. Husband ordered chicken patty with gravy, hashbrowns toast eggs. I had sweet potato fries (cubed). 2 pops. We waited for our order for close to at least 40 mins. My bun was so dried it crumbled. The hamburger was so dry and over cooked. The piece of cheese cracked the edges. No sauce or if, had to have been a dab. Had onions wild rice. I never have ketsup but drenched it so to moisten it. The sweet potatoes were so bad i left them on my plate. I asked for ranch dressing and between to waitresses big discussion. I waited for that for a good 15 min. Then she came back and asked if I still wanted it. Didn't help the potatoes. My husband to can verify the meal I ordered. His was ok but hashbrowns were burnt edges. Did this happen because of how my husband and my self presented our selves? The way we were dressed or our ages? Noway could my meal been freshly made. Did it sit there . My bill was 38.85 with out tip. I tipped i believe any body doing that as job deserves a decent tip. I'm trying to find out their prices for 2025. I know question my bill. I wrote some of my complaints on back of receipt. 1:49 I...
Read moreThe Salmon Benedict was cooked to PERFECTION! Homemade - down to the crust (and you can tell) - pie! I had the S'mores pie. It has a brownie base - thank goodness I only brought one piece home, because I could literally eat the entire pie! My son and husband both had bites and we all agreed the Smores is our favorite. That flaky homemade crust, warm, gooey chocolate - the best! Not to many places you can still sit at a counter and have an entirely home cooked meal....
Read moreNot sure what happened this Morning, But the food is normally very good. I ordered the breakfast special two eggs, Meat, Hashbrowns and toast. Bacon was black or burnt, Hashbrowns cold, eggs asked for basted and not sure what they came out as. I don't complain as everyone has bad days but how hard is it to cook a breakfast, there where maybe 12 people so not busy. When I walked into Kay's the cooks had loud music playing and the singing was really bad. I'll be back and I really hope the cooks can maybe do more cooking and less singing. Never seen the waitress before but if the normal ones where working that plate of food would never have...
