Sal's Bar & Grill — Restaurant in St. Joseph

Ive worked at Sals for 30 years and its a joke that people are calling the bar racist because of laws we have to abide by with international ids...plus people forget the students get away with stuff at sals that if they did in other big city bars...the bouncers would throw them out and use their heads to open the door..most of my experience with the students over the years has been positive..yet every year we get some people that treat the bar likes its their personal playground...people should find out all facts about bar rules pertaining to ids before they label...

Honestly I’ve had a lot of experiences with Kyle and the people here that were so nice and classy... but out of nowhere I’m seeing how whoever is handling their social media posts is making them look not only extremely unprofessional, but ignorant to the obvious mistreatment of international customers. Situations could have been handled so much more elegantly but they choose to reply as if a teenager owns the establishment. Until they apologize for their social media actions and the actions of the employees on May 4 2019 I will not be returning to this...

This bar was a very fun place to go out with friends and have a few drinks as well as dance the night away. Although the floors were a bit sticky, and it was very crowded, these things are to be expected when going to a college bar. I would recommend to anyone that would like to go out and have a fun time dancing, and does not mind being around a bunch of college students! They are also very good with checking Id's to make sure one is 21, so mad...
