Normally I really enjoy myself whenever I come here, but my most current experience wasn’t so great, which is why I’m giving this place 2 stars. I walked into this establishment at 2:35pm. It wasn’t very busy, but I wasn’t seated until 10 minutes after I walked in. When the person finally got to me, she immediately said, “yea can I help you?”, making me feel like I didn’t belong. I said yes, I’d like a table for 3. She then said the lunch menu isn’t available. I said it was fine, I didn’t mind the dinner menu. I asked if me and my party could sit in the patio area and she made me feel like I was being an inconvenience. I was seated and wasn’t asked if I wanted a drink, until I asked for a menu. I told her the rest of my party would be in until after, so I wasn’t offered an appetizer until after they showed up after 3:20. We got our appetizers quickly, but she didn’t take our order. She then walked out around 3:40 and I asked if it was ok if we ordered, she said yeah and grabbed our orders. She did bring out one of the side salads and more bread. I asked if she could bring oil and vinegar and she turned around without saying anything. She walked out, put it on the table then walked away. The food took the normal time to get to the table. Everything was delicious. I hope to come back, but during certain hours, I probably wouldn’t bring friends in, only because I’m used to great service and food at this place. Whenever my military buddies come in town, I’d only bring them here right around start of lunch or later in the day, because that’s when I’ve had...

My recent experience was an utter disaster from start to finish. I had the misfortune of ordering the Chicken Spiedini, but what arrived at my table was a culinary nightmare disguised as a meal. At first, I thought the chicken was simply tough, but as I continued to eat, I realized it was completely raw, concealed by a coating of breadcrumbs. The fact that such a glaring mistake could occur in a supposedly reputable establishment is beyond comprehension.

Upon alerting our server to the issue, her shock and mortification mirrored my own. However, any hope for resolution was swiftly crushed by the management's abysmal response. Despite admitting the chicken was raw, they callously refused to make amends, with the exception of replacing the entrée and insisting on charging us for the entire meal.

To add insult to injury, our attempts to escalate the matter to the owner were met with complete disregard. Their arrogant and pompous attitude only served to exacerbate the situation. As someone who frequents dining establishments regularly, I am appalled by the sheer lack of professionalism and decency. Their refusal to acknowledge their mistake and compensate accordingly is a clear reflection of their appalling customer service standards.

Needless to say, I will never set foot in any of their family’s restaurants again, and I will make it my mission to warn others against subjecting themselves to such a deplorable dining experience. It's truly disheartening to see such disregard for basic food safety and customer satisfaction in the...

My 41 year old daughter got the baked fish and after 1 bite she said it didn’t taste right and it made her stomach hurt. She then explained all of the above to the waiter and asked to replace it with something else and to remove the fish from her bill. The waiter called the supervisor and the supervisor said that there was nothing wrong with their fish and that they would not remove the fish from her bill. So my daughter or me didn’t have enough money to order something else so she left the restaurant hungry. Also, there was not any sign at the front door or nor on their menu or anywhere else in the restaurant that stated that it was their policy to charge a patron for food that was unsatisfactory to that patron. Also since my daughter only had just 1 bite of the fish and then immediately asked the supervisor to replace the entree for something else and to take the charge for the fish off of her bill, the owner should had honored my daughter’s request. Also, the supervisor said that he called the owner on my daughters behalf and he said that the owner refused to take the fish off my daughter’s bill. This is unacceptable and if you have such an unusual policy then the policy should be made known to the patrons...

First, I want to say how excellent the staff is. The service is tremendous. As far as the food, the appetizers were all great. The spinach and bruschetta had so much flavor. I loved the fact that the Bruschetta had 3 different varieties and they were all terrific. The bread tasted like the same exact bread you will find elsewhere on the hill. It's good though. I ordered the lasagna and it was rather uneventful. The meat tasted a little dry, mealy and no flavor. It tasted like the meat was run under water. Tasted like provel cheese and yes, I know that's a St. Louis thing... just pointing that out. The lasagna did not have any structure to it. The noodles were very overcooked. It just looked like a little pile of slop on the plate. Everyone else's meal looked phenomenal and they had no complaints. For the dessert, I had the tiramisu. It tasted just like every single tiramisu on the hill. Small piece. I've been to a lot of restaurants on the hill, and this was just not my favorite. It seemed a little overpriced comparatively and I don't think it really lived up to the hype.

We were seated as soon as we walked in. The waitress brought us water and then the waiter took our drink order. About 10 minutes later another waitress brought us bread and butter and cheese. I was getting excited because I thought we were going to get to order 😕. Nope, a group of 4 people came in 2 tables down from us, ordered and got their food before we even got to order. Our waiter finally came and took our order for a pizza and a bowl of spaghetti. The pizza came about 30 minutes later, the table of 4 had now gotten up and left. He told me my spaghetti was going to be a few minutes later. My husband ate half of a 14" pizza before I finally got my spaghetti. Needless to say, I was not in the mood to eat by then and had to get it to go 😫 😩! Won't be back! And got charged full price plus a hefty tip!
