This was my first time trying Jack in the Box and my CA friends are always raving about it and it was about midnight so not many other options available anyway. So after checking the menu out we decided to try while in the area. The first location we went to didn't have most of the things we wanted to other so we drove here. The speaker box was broken so we needed to pull to window to order, which took a little bit. We did order quite a few items: a jr chicken sandwich, a jr burger, two tacos, one of each mozzarella sticks, banana French toast sticks, one soda, and one tea. We did try to get a teriyaki bowl, but they didn't have them available. After about 20 minutes of sitting at the window, the food was given to us along with the drinks. He was friendly and did apologize for the wait and let me know what all sauces were in the bag.
We get back to the hotel we're staying at and eat. Although my boyfriend seemed to enjoy the food he got, I didn't really like the flavor of the marinara and my chicken sandwich wasn't hot so I decided to go for what I was really looking forward to trying - the banana French toast sticks. There was syrup in the bag, but no French toast. Devastated I call the location to let them know so that maybe I can drive back down and get them replaced without having to wait another hour in line and at the window, but for the 5 times I've tried to call, it rings for a few moments, followed by a high pitched dial up tone. If I call back too quickly after that, it's just a busy tone. No answer and no way to know if I can get my item replaced or refunded before we leave the state.
It's now almost 2 am and I've just given up on the item I was wanting to try or a refund and just don't think I'll go back to another Jack in the Box after this. I spent like $25... I just wanted to enjoy...
Read moreIf I could give 5 negative stars, I would. January 29th at 9 pm, I ordered 8 tacos and 2 medium fries. The lady threw my bag of food at me out the window and shut it. I then hand to honk my horn for ask for butter milk ranch that she threw in my hand, resulting in half of them falling to the ground and no offer for more. I then get home, and my tacos are refried. I'm talking; my lettuces were sooooo dry and burned. Then, my fries are half full. I called that night, no answer. I then called Sunday, explained what happened, and told them I would like a refund. I was told to bring the food and receipt back. No problem. I go back to return the food, and I'm thrown more Tacos. I told them I called and asked for a refund. The manager comes to the window rude as EVER and says I'll have to come back when another manager is there bc that will make their draw short. And he rudly walked away as I was asking for Corporate phone number. It is not February 1st, and I still have this food and am wanting a rude. I have called and called no answer, or someone is picking up and hanging up. I just want my money back from this. This is crazy I've had to go this far with this. SOMEONE NEEDS TO REACH OUT TO ME. THANKS I wish I could post these photos and videos.
Edit. I've called again for a refund and they steady offering me more food. I do not want any food from this...
Read moreWent through the drive thru yesterday evening for dinner and the experience was less than ideal. It’s fast food so I’m not expecting a gourmet experience by any means but I am expecting to at least get what I paid for because fast food isn’t cheap anymore!!! We were first greeted by a very bad attitude of “what do you want?” but that’s the least of my worries about this review. When we got home ALL of our food was wrong aside from the bacon cheeseburger. Instead of spicy loaded tiny tacos we received plain regular tiny tacos, our curly fries were literal crumbs with regular fries mixed in, and then the reaaaaal kicker was the tacos. Now we all know Jack in Box is the goat for tacos… well not this one. All of our tacos had no lettuce, no sauce, fried in old oil (you could definitely tell by the color and taste), and SWISS cheese. My guess is that he ran out of regular or was just high as a kite. They were so disgusting and all of them went right back in the bag and into the trash. I hate hate hate wasting food so I gave them a chance, I tried but there was just no way. I’ve sent a review to the higher ups and I’m praaaaaying I can get my money back.
