First experience! Download the mobile app in anticipation of future visits and racking up rewards points. Placed my order for myself and 2 two boys, 8 & 4. I got a medium Caramelicious Blender, boys got a kids lemonberry-ade and kids strawberry smoothie. In the short wait at the drive thru with one car at the window, the 3nd car decided to not wait and drove off. When I got to the window they asked if I had the peach smoothie - I explained to them how the car in front of me drove off, and after a second the last offered me the drink for free since it was made. That was sweet of her, we took it (mostly I wanted to see if either of my boys would like peach). Both boys loved their drinks and were also offering suckers (dum dums) and a sticker (a Scooters sticker). My drink was good and much better priced than the Seattle-based competitor up the street. Kids sizes were perfect - much better than a "small" from the royal smoothie chain - and for only $3.25. We will be working in stops at Scooters for our Friday treats...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI went to Scooters for the first time on Memorial Day. The employee told me to "scoot on around" which I did not expect to hear, but was delighted when it happened. I drove up to the service window, and my drink was immediately ready.
The employee who helped me was so friendly and upbeat and positive. It was SO NICE to see a kind smiling face of someone who seemed to genuinely care about me enjoying my breakfast. It was nice to spend those thirty seconds with them. It shifted my crabby mood into positivity.
My standard coffee order is either an iced black coffee or a black cold brew. Scooter's was way better than Starbucks, not as good as McDonalds, on the same level as Dunkin's, better than Ronnoco (which we all know is really just "O'Connor" spelled backward) and then nothing can compare to what I consider to be the gold standard: the Door County Coffee I make at home!

Ā Ā Ā Read moreOh, the irony of it all. Today was my first visit to Scooterās. The irony isā¦I rode my hog (49cc scooter). The price for my usual Iced Mocha was about 50 cents less than other coffee shops. Thatās the good part. The sad part is, thereās no inside or outside seating. Iām guessing this is to keep cost down & customer traffic moving. I like to sit outside & soak up the sunshine in nice weather. I was forced to sit on my scooter.
I was glad to see a sticker in the drive-thru window, āOwned & Operated by a Veteranā. The barista told me a Marine. It may not be the closest coffee shop to my apartment ā but, it is along a cycling route I often take. Seeing that they open at 6:00 a.m. compared to other places at 7:00 a.m., Iām sure Iāll be back. I like to get in an early morning bike ride before rush hour traffic...
