Tower Pub — Restaurant in St. Louis

I was here for drinks for first time last week. Good hot dogs, free popcorn, apple pie shots and fun atmosphere. They had to hold onto my card until I closed my tab, which I hadn’t seen before. I got a Tower Pub charge way before I closed out, but I thought maybe it was a hold. When I actually went to close my tab, I received someone else’s card. I gave it back & told them it wasn’t mine. Turns out they had given mine to someone else, and said they thought my friend closed for me. They voided the charge, and thankfully I was able to cancel my card before anything else could happen. Truly wish that I never would have stepped foot in this place. I was a childhood friend of Libby the bartender’s son Jake. Went into Tower Pub under the impression I was going to peacefully have a couple drinks and catch up with a friend. Libby was rude and cut me off for no reason. Her friends then proceeded to get physical with me and kick me out of the bar when i questioned her on it. Nice well cared for establishment with a friendly atmosphere in the week and full of energy on the weekends. A mainstay of Southside pubs. When the weather is nice the patio is the spot to be, unless it's a little chilly, at which point your can sit around the fire or under one of the many outdoor heaters. The clientele ranges from college kids, old heads, deadheads, 30 something lawyers, great-grandparents, and anything in between. And they got great hotdogs for when ya need a lil something in the stomach to soak...
