The food is excellent! I got a chicken cheesesteak, bacon cheese fries, and a chocolate covered cheesecake. The chicken cheesesteak had very tender, well seasoned meat. The cheese to chicken ratio was perfect and the bread was soft which is just how I like it. You get a good bit of meat. They are definitely not shorting you on that.
The bacon cheese fries were yummy, and the chocolate cheesecake tasted homemade. I don't know if it is or not, but most of the desserts that I saw definitely looked like they were made in-house.
This is not a dine-in restaurant. It's a grab and go place. There are no tables inside to eat at. Parking is street parking like most of the places in that area. Their menu consists of a lot of different cheesesteaks, burgers, wings, and hot dogs. They've got mozzarella sticks, jalapeno poppers, fried ravioli, and a good assortment of fries with different toppings. For dessert, they have three or four different cheesecakes, like maybe five different gooey cakes, and massive chocolate chip cookies with the most chocolate chunks I've ever seen on a cookie. Definitely something for a chocolate lover. Everything is a good size portion and I really appreciate the attention to detail by taping shut to go boxes that had messy items in them. I also really liked seeing 60s and '70s and early '80s r&B and disco music videos playing in the background.
I'm not entirely sure, but based on what I saw, I believe this place is owned and operated by black women. These ladies know how to cook and they know how to bake and I highly recommend paying...
Read moreThe food is Alright, The prices are way too high in my opinion. If the food tasted better or if was given money’s worth then it would be worth it. I’ve ordered a Philly Cheesesteak that was Advertised to come with fries and didn’t get any fries and the meat on my sandwich barely covered the whole piece of bread. I will never order food from here again, I’d rather go next door to 7/11.
UPDATE: I couldn’t Reply to the Owners Response so I decided to add my final thoughts here. I’ll start by Saying I am not the only Bad review this business has received . I’ve spoken to and Read Many of online reviews about this place. Just like there are people that don’t mind wasting their money, there are people that do mind. Owner says It has the “cheapest” Philly cheese steaks in STL but Miami Grill on Chippewa Has $10 Philly cheese steak COMBO’s that Come with seasoned Fries . Also could have been my misunderstanding as far as the Advertisement but either way, Paying over $10 for just a Philly cheese steak that doesn’t even cover the whole bread is Crazy. I am Totally entitled to my own opinion and still feel as though There are better places around the...
Read moreI ordered scrambled eggs with cheese cooked soft(the eggs came out burnt with a piece of cheese broken in half on top of the eggs) the bacon was crispy as requested (but it was ice cold) the hash browns (were burnt and greasy) the pancakes were delicious and so was the buffalo chicken ravioli. The cook came out to speak with my party and I to rectify the problem and while he was talking with us a lady who was determined later as the owner started yelling from behind the counter that the eggs are supposed to look that way because the cheese has got to melt on top. I asked her if she wouldn’t mind coming to our table instead of yelling from across the room. She came and stood directly behind the cook with her hands on her hip and said nothing after stating earlier that he wasn’t the one that I should be speaking with because she’s the owner yet she said nothing once she approached the table. I didn’t eat anything but the pancakes and they still tired to make me pay for it. FIRS AND LAST TIME. I DON’T CARE WHAT THE...
