After the 2024 Polar Plunge, this place was recommended to us. When we arrived it didnât look overly busy, plenty of empty areas. It took a few minutes to receive water and 1 lemonade for a table of 5âŚand thatâs all we received for over an hour! We begged to order and 2 wait staff became short with us for even asking. We were offered more water and one root beer, but they couldnât even give us an update on our order other than âthere was a mixupâ. After 90 minutes, our order arrived, very small portions, forgotten items and no follow up. When I asked for our bill, our wait staff stood over me barking a total and would it be cash or card. Seriously?! I requested a bill WITH a missed item correction and she argued with me about how much the discount was. I had a card machine shoved in my face and I was furious.Let me say this: a tip is a reflection of the service provided and there was little to NO serviceâŚnot from kitchen or wait staff. I was scoffed at and never felt so unwelcome in a small town pub in my life....
Read moreWe arrived and after standing in the front door awhile, found a server to ask if we should seat ourselves. We knew they were busy but her response was very snotty when she told us we could sit if we could find a spot. When I asked if they were full, she responded, "I don't know. Go look around I guess. 15 minutes to have any server aknowledge us. We did end up with a very nice server but then started the ridiculous food wait. We were at the restaurant for 2 hours and 16 minutes! One hour and 40 minutes was spent waiting for 2 way overdone burgers and one order of dry chicken wings that tasted like microwaved frozen chicken nuggets from the grocery store. We did not complain as we were just really at a point of wanting to walk away from the whole experience and get home. Our server did apologize repeatedly but not a single person from management stopped by to say anything or offer any sort of comp on our ticket or off a future visit. Poor experience overall and will not...
Read moreMhh, what to say? Holiday weekend, inside was mostly empty, patio was quite full with some guys playing 'weird music' (my opinion), but limited menu only - I'm not going out much since my wife passed 3 years ago, and this was the first time I was going out for food 19 days after my cancer surgery. I used to like Patrick's and the food, but this was a disappointment. Not sure what happened since the pandemic. Of course the burger I went there for is not on the limited menu - ever since the pandemic the staff has been unfriendly and unresponsive, and the prices have gone up quite a bit. Sorry guys, I remember walking into this place 35 years ago - before it was Patrick's - me in my Navy dress uniform and my wife in her wedding dress, and we had a great time. Unfortunately the ambient and experience has gone down (again this is my personal opinion and experience) in the last few years. I might give it one more try, but I am about to look for a different place to go to...
