I came to this location thirty minutes before closing time upon getting there I noticed the parking isn’t only limited but tight, there’s about 5 open spaces and one handicap space, the area seems generally safe. After finding a spot and going inside me and my wife were immediately greeted and asked if we needed any help with the menu to what we said it was our first time here and the girl behind the register kindly answered to take our time and ask any questions if we needed help with the menu even though they were already cleaning and getting ready to close; looking at the menu I noticed prices weren’t exactly cheap but I didn’t come here hoping they were as I had done some research and a quality burger isn’t going to cost what a McDouble would cost so on avg a burger will be right over 10 dollars, I had a number three my wife a number 6 with chili cheese fries ( delicious ) and two canned sodas as we didn’t notice or see a fountain machine our total came out to 32 dollars. After sitting down and enjoying the view of the highway and the nice relaxed atmosphere of the restaurant with a good game of checkers with the wife the wait time was 10 minutes before we got our meals, food was fresh, steamy and smelled like QUALITY, I am no food expert but to be able to make food like this not even half an hour before closing time that takes serious dedication to give the best customer experience possible. The burger was packed with flavors and juicy as could be & I personally liked that the American cheese was very noticeable when biting down on the lightly toasted bun which was also a great choice instead of what would have been a “regular boring room temperature bun” ( really hope this makes sense 😅 ). Mid way through the meal an employee started cleaning around the lobby and we could tell they were waiting for us to finish but hesitated to ask us to hurry so that we’d finish our meals, in an attempt to make their life’s easier we took our food to go however noticing they didn’t say anything as they watched us walking out it woulda seemed as if they’d been bothered about our five minute over stay but never the less I finished not being only what was still left of my burger but also my wife’s as she’d gotten full with only half of hers so yeah they’re pretty filling. Felt great after eating and I can with certainty that ill be coming back, it was an amazing eating experience and all tough parking coulda have been greeted and a simple “have a good day” would have been nice, the food quality and upon entering service was phenomenal. Big thanks...
Read moreWhat a pleasant little surprise. Talk about living up to the hype when it comes to a good burger. Very surprised in a pleasant way.
The burgers were made to order and that alone had me and my wife ready to see how the food tasted.
The fries definitely were fresh cut that day. Very fresh tasting and also cooked to order. Almost had a seasoned taste in a very good way
The burger had fresh buns and the toppings all tasted fresh as well. I'm hoping to do more research and see if they purchase their vegetables local.
The buns...not sure off the top of my head but they were fresh and just soft enough to be perfect.
Hot Dog...bun was great and the dog was cooked just perfect. Plain and simple, it was hit with ketchup and mustard and love, lol, which made it yummy.
Parking...this is where I have to be honest. Very small tight parking lot and it is small and tight enough I would not make it a stop for my family again. It would definitely be fine for me to meet one of my friends or work acquaintances, just wouldn't bring my family as a whole.
All in all a great spot for lunch or dinner and just overall...
Read moreI'm not going to bury the lead: let's normalize putting a hotdog on your burger. . I ordered Chunk's Burger, which featured: a beef patty, bacon, ham, the aforementioned hot dog (beef), cheese, lettuce, tomato, mayo, and mustard. It is not just a chunk, it is a chonk. It is also delicious, truly one of the better burgers I've had. Mine had a really nice eggy bun that held this beast together. Outstanding. . My wife had Nelly's Burger, which was a beef patty stuffed with mozzarella, feta, garlic, grilled onions, grilled jalapenos, mayo, and mustard. My wife elected to have her peppers on the side when she learned they were actually serrano peppers. She thought it too was great. . The peppers on the side were genius because you could place them on your bite and not be surprised by them. Also, she could share them with me ;-) . I don't want to neglect my praise for the fries, which are exactly the kind I like. Real potatoes, 3/8" or so, fried until crunchy but still soft inside. They battled for taste supremacy with the burger, they were so good. . Overall, excellent experience. This unpretentious...
