Food is average. Service depends on who is at the register/answering phones. It gets packed quickly and the order takers move slow. I watched an uber eats delivery driver literally wait 20 mins for his order that was sitting packaged and ready to go.....when he came in an announced he was uber they told him to hold on. After a few mins of waiting he asked if the order in front of his face was the one he was waiting for and the woman told him he has to wait. She took 4 other customers orders and gave another customer an attitude because they made her food incorrectly and she had to have it remade. After 20 mins of waiting she gives uber the food and the guy looked pissed. Sucks for the customer who had to receive cold food all because the woman at the front doesnt have any time management skills what so ever. She was more focused on taking peoples money rather than making sure food was going out in a timely manner and offering good customer service when they messed up someones order. This use to be a frequent spot for me but bad customer service combined with premade food just isnt worth the price anymore. They should consider charging a lot less to...
Read moreOrdered 2 Turkey sandwiches today. When i walked in around noon i was greeted by a younger cashier which felt very welcoming & inviting motivating me to come again. A second later the older cashier says hello but in an opposite manner than younger cashier had greeted me with. she seemed bothered by just being at her job but was prompting me to move forward so i did. she asked me what my name was, i gave it to her - and said i would be paying cash. I don’t know if they were short on change , or what it was but she seemed even more bothered by that… as a spiritual human, & customer - i could feel her become tense. i didn’t even want my change at this point being that she was so tense & seemed to be bothered by simply existing …. i told her to keep it . i know $4 is nothing, however my main reason in posting this is because the energy changed so fast in this interaction & was very much a buzzkill. i’ll be back no problem however next time i’ll gladly & firmly wait for the other cashier for a positive...
Read moreThere once was a time I came to Village Table weekly- for their sandwiches... Things have went downhill in the last year. I'll keep it brief... Veggie sandwich on whole wheat ordered a week ago (made completely wrong adding jalapenos for...good luck [?] no spinach, etc.) I called and told them no biggie, but I asked if a credit next time would work, tossed it and got a sandwich elsewhere. I get a call from the owner... She didn't apologize or ask what was initially wrong but offered a "gift card". LOL. As a business owner myself the next step sent me... I go in a week later for a CREDITED FREE SANDWICH after ordering on phone--- no gift card was found... Then they tell me avocados are extra & aren't in the sandwich (ordered them over 80x so I can safely say that's not true) And what do i get? the sandwich isn't on whole wheat, even after it was repeated back to me- for the second time. I guess you get what you pay for.... No need to call or respond. My business isn't wanted here and I'm totally OK...
