THE FOOD IS ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!! THE STAFF ARE RUDE AND HATEFUL AND THE PLACE JUST NEEDS TO BE TORN DOWN AND A NEW 1 BUILT!!!!!! THE CUSTOMER SERVICE HAS WENT OUT THE WINDOW.... DON'T ORDER CHILI B/C IT'S BASICALLY WATER AND THEY DON'T EVEN FILL IT UP!!!! U GET A LARGE AND IT'S ABOUT A 1/3RD DOWN FROM THE TOP.... THE CHICKEN IS DRIED OUT, THE FRIES ARE ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS TASTES LIKE THEY'VE BEEN SITTING THERE ALL DAY LONG AND IF THEY MAKE "FRESH 1S" THE OIL THEY USE MAKES THEM TASTE THE SAME WAY..... AND GOD FORBID IF U COMPLAIN ABOUT UR FOOD BEING DISGUSTING AND NASTY B.C. THEY GET EVEN MORE RUDER AND NASTY WITH U AND U JUST TELL THEM FORGET IT AND GIVE U UR MONEY BACK THEY GO THRU THE ROOF!!!! FORGET ABOUT GETTING A FROSTY, THEIR MACHINE IS EITHER ALWAYS BROKEN OR IT'S RUNNY AND WATERY.... I'VE BEEN IN THERE WHEN EMPLOYEES WOULD JUST QUIT AND WALK OUT AND I CAN'T BLAME THEM!!!!!! MY MOM WENT IN THERE WITH A COUPLE OF HAPPY MEALS EARLIER THIS SUMMER TO TELL THEM THAT THE NUGGETS WERE HARD AND THE FRIES WERE ICE COLD AND NASTY AND THE MANAGER SAID WELL WHAT DO U WANT ME TO DO ABOUT IT!?!? MOM WAS LIKE I'D LIKE IT REPLACED AND CHANGE IT TO GRILLED CHICKEN WRAPS AND THE MANAGER SAID WE CAN'T DO THAT THEY COST MORE, AND MOM SAID WELL THEN Y ARE U RUNNING A SPECIAL THAT ANY HAPPY MEAL IS $1.99 IF THEY'RE DIFFERENT PRICES!?!?! THE MANAGER THEN ASKED HER WHO THEY WERE FOR (AS IF IT MATTERS WHO THEY'RE FOR) AND MOM SAID THEY'RE FOR MY ADULT SON AND THEN THE MANAGER SAID HAPPY MEALS ARE FOR KIDS NOT ADULTS!!!!! MOM SAID IT DOESN'T MATTER THE AGE OF THE PERSON ANYONE CAN GET ANYTHING THEY WANT WHEN THEY ORDER AND THEN THE MANAGER SAID I'LL DO IT THIS TIME BUT I WON'T DO IT EVER AGAIN.... THE PLACE HAS GONE DOWN HILL SEVERELY BAD, THE BATHROOMS ARE DISGUSTING THEY JUST NEED TO TEAR THAT PLACE DOWN AND COMPLETELY REBUILD A BRAND NEW 1!!!!! Read moreI visited the Stanley, N.C. Wendy's last night with a mobile order.
I walked inside as the drive through lane was so full it spilled out onto the main road. I understand the challenges fast food restaurants are having nationwide and I sympathize but I felt like I needed to let someone know about my experience last night. I stood at the counter for a full 10 minutes and no one spoke to me or offered to take my order. Finally a person behind me asked one of the employees if they were taking orders and and they replied that the manager told them not to take front lobby or door dash orders at that time because they were so back logged and an employee had just walked out.
I totally understand that, but it would have been nice if someone had informed us of that when we walked in. I told her I already put in a mobile order and I decided to wait for it (it took 30 minutes) but lots of other people came in and just walked out after no one greeted them. The manager was visible this entire time and never addressed us. Also, a loud verbal fight between two mail employees in the back happened while I was waiting.
Everyone in the lobby and dining area could hear it and several people walked out during that. The staff appeared to be working really hard. What really bothered me was the manager's behavior. She never addressed the public about the wait time, she didn't blink an eye when the employee fight broke out (didn't go to the back to investigate, just let it play out).
I word of explanation or apology for the wait time can go along way but she never offered any and stood around a lot.
This incident occured on Monday night 9/23/24 between 6:45 and 7:30. If you have camera footage it would be good...
Read moreI have been there three times in 8 months. And every time the cashiers are rude they act like you just ruined there day because your ordering food. I guess there to ignorant to realize that is how they earn a paycheck. And I'm pretty sure that's the reason there parking lot is always empty. No one wants to come to a place to eat and spend there hard earned money after a hard day or night at work and put up with smart ass cashiers. My burgers were squashed together. I'm also emailing corporate and I see there's alot of negative complaints for the place so hopefully everyone else is sending emails to corporate also. I know I wrote a long post and I'm not sorry Wendy's prices are not cheap when your feeding a family of 7 so I expect way better treatment than what I have received. I see it's not just me either. So Wendy's in Stanley get ready because corporate will be visiting you because it appears that the manager does not take these...
