Big hair in my Lomo Saltado: Well i read a few bad comments but concetrated on the good ones and thought i will give this place the benefit of the doubt. I odered the lomo saltado which uts nothing special...and half way thru...yep you guest correctly a big black hair mixed in with the food. I called the manager...he was perplexed and speechless but didnt seem to care. He quickly took the plate(or evidence) and walked away without even apologising. He came back and said: " its ok" meaning you dont have to pay. I tested him even further and i offered to pay at least for my drink expecting to hear from him .No its ok..its on the house and maybe an apology and a free coupon perhaps...instead he said : "it's $2" i laughed and said to myself...this guy has no clue and this issue will never be corrected. Read moreFood was fantastic! We had the picantes mariscos, lomo saltado, and kids meals. It’s probably best to order to go as there’s something less than normal about the dining room here. It’s more like a storeroom and office with tables and chairs as there are lots of inventory just sitting around and a desk and computer right there with you. Also, the curtains next to us had us thinking of what scenario took place as there was something splattered all around the table on the curtains. It looked like someone might have been whacked at the table, or an animal was butchered there, or maybe someone just dropped a really saucy dish that splattered on the curtains. Read moreDon't judge this little hole in the wall by it's cover! This is, hands down, the best authentic Peruvian food in Orange County. Possibly the best empanadas in Orange County too! It's small and family owned, but the food is all sooo good, and the ingredients are fresh, which is very important with all the tasty seafood dishes. You can tell that the owner takes pride in his restaurant, and you can taste it in the food. My favorite things are the empanadas, beef saltado, and the chaufa. All this is best when washed down with a Golden Inca Cola! I honestly can not say enough good things about this restaurant, it's one of the places I bring new friends to surprise them with amazing food!
When I can't come in, I order this for third party delivery, and staff always makes sure it's packed well for the travel...
