GameStop — Local services in Cypress

Immediately as I walk in, I find it odd that neither of the two tall male employees even acknowledge. That's totally fine as I'm pretty introverted , but usually GameStop employees hover over you haha.

I look around a bit, and the. I finally ask if they have some Pokemon cards. He rudely replies "no" without even looking at me and back turned. Mind you, I was told that they had 24 in stock of the bundle yesterday and was informed there were 42 here by a different store. While I try to call before I set off to drive, I get no response as no one picks up. Now that I'm here, I can see why. Neither of the guys are working nor are there any customers in store.

Not even a "anything else I can help you with" or a "thank you" as I walk out. As someone who also has to display excellent customer service as part of my job, it's actually so gross how flippant and rude people are despite how polite you are. GameStop has been going downhill for years. Sorry to sound so entitled, but I don't come into the store demanding or anything. It's just a simple question of if they have x item in stock.

TLDR: This GameStop withholds their Pokemon stock or some other fishy aspect is going on. Not surprising as a lot of employees at retail stores are back...

I drove out of my area to this store for a Wonder Woman Action Figure. Pretty good sized store compared to your avg Gamestop. Place is pretty well organized and clean. It seems it can get very busy when school is done. Employee at time was very helpful with picking out the best conditioned figure and was multitasking to help me not wait that long while other employee went to get coffee when things were slow. Employee was really concerned about my wait time because things got busy and line was building up right when I decided to look for any other items I may be interested in while I had the figure I wanted at the back of the counter. I would avoid coming here at all costs. I typically don't write reviews but the cashier Zach was very aggresive and weird. I came in to purchase a console and from the moment I walked in he was trying to rush me out of the store even though it was 6PM. Keep in mind the store closes at 9PM. I was in the store for 10 minutes and within that timespan he tried to get me out of the store 4 times. The harrassment got so bad that I had to tell him to stop with his aggression or there was going to be problems. After that he apologized profusely and I left the store and decided to purchase the PS5 elsewhere. Please avoid this place unless you want to...
