This is a quaint hotel that's in the middle of the city. I was able to get to my conference within about 10 minutes. That's great. It's tucked behind a couple of other buildings, which was nice. There was plenty of parking. I like to park in the back, because there's always a door accessible to the back parking lot and there's usually more parking. What's funny about this hotel is that to get to the front you have to pull all the way around, so the first time you get there you actually think that you are in the front but you have to go around to get to the front, if that makes sense. The staff was great. There were cookies when I got there. That can be dangerous. You can pretty much take as many as you want, I think. I stayed away, this time at least. Also, because I am a rewards member I was given a little goodie bag with a couple of waters and some snacks. That was a pleasant surprise. The rooms themselves are a little bit out of date and my TV had a blue hue to at the entire time, which was kind of funny. But, I don't watch very much television when I'm there so it didn't matter. I was put in one of those rooms that has the door in between to another one, that is adjoined. I don't like those rooms, and I probably need to specify that when I get there next time. That was a good learning lesson. The desk was perfect for doing work, although the chair sat a little bit low. My room had a king size bed which was perfect. There were blackout shades if you wanted to use them, which I did one morning when I was able to sleep in. There's really not a bad view from any of the rooms, I would think. The lady who ran the breakfast was really nice. Whatever they are paying her it is not enough. She talked to everybody that was in there for breakfast. She walked to every table and asked each of us how we were doing. She was genuinely happy to see her customers, and had a smile the entire time. Engaging in conversation with people at that hour in the morning is not always easy. She made it look easy. All in all it was a good day. I hope that the rooms are updated in the near future. These days, you need to redo your rooms every few years or else you are just completely out of date. This hotel is not there yet, but it will be if it does not redo the rooms soon.

I was pretty disappointed with this location. Hampton Inn’s are usually clean and well kept. This hotel was definitely sub par to the brand in my experience. I got weird text messages from the hotel asking for how we rate them and if we needed anything, but they never responded. The carpets (including the hallways) are in desperate need of cleaning, our toilet was clogged when we got there, our toiletries weren’t replenished, and the showers were gross. See pictures for the shower. It definitely made me reconsider my loyalty to the Hampton Inn line of hotels. I wouldn’t call this establishment a 3-star hotel by any stretch of the imagination. I may jump over to Marriott to see if they are more consistent on cleanliness.

This has quickly become one of our favorite places to stay when in Los Angeles area. The hotel is located next to a shopping center with lots of shops and restaurants oh and my personal favorite Target. Its so convenient especially if you happen to forget something while traveling, the hotel has a mini store where you can get anything you may need from snacks to toiletries. The pool looks so nice, will definitely try it out next time. The hotel was about a 15 minute drive to Disneyland which was awesome we were able to relax in our room then head to the parks.

I'm a Hilton hotels guy and this is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. I figured they may have fixed several things after the first time I stayed here about 6 months ago but nothing has changed for the better. The breakfast buffet is the worst Hilton breakfast buffet I have ever had. Seems like it doesn't matter what time you get to the breakfast, everything is dried out or has a complete lack of flavor, or both... It's like it's been sitting out on a table thawing for a few weeks. The key cards barely work on your hotel room let alone the actual doors to gain access to the hotel itself and forget about entering the pool with hotel key cards. One of the pool doors is completely dead and the other one just doesn't allow access at all. After swapping eight key cards out in a matter of a day and a half I was still unable to access the pool or my room for that matter unless I sat there and tried my key card roughly 40 plus times before it magically worked. I guess partial good news is when they said the pool was heated to about 85°, The pool was actually right around 85° and was clean and refreshing unlike the rest of the hotel...This entire hotel is in need of updates. On top of the key cards, my deadbolt wouldn't actually turn no matter what I did. I could turn the lock as hard as I possibly wanted without the door actually shut and the deadbolt would not move. So if it doesn't turn when the door is open, I wouldn't expect it to ever work when the door was shut... It was completely frozen and this was a security flaw. The staff didn't have a fix for it...The staff are friendly but it seems like this hotel is underpaid understaffed and living about 15 years in the past. The fresh cookies are about the only saving grace this place has. The room floors seem to creek like the boards are about to give way and at any moment you could fall through to the floor beneath you and God forbid you have someone up above you because you will hear every single footstep voice and almost breath that they take. I thought my apartment was poorly insulated but this hotel somehow takes the cake... I have never been so sorely disappointed by Hilton hotels before but now that it's the second time coming here, they have only reinforced the notion that this hotel is absolute garbage. I guess I'll be looking to IHG hotel group or Marriott local to me next time I am here in Cypress or staying 10 plus minutes away for the nearest actually decent...

Diamond Member - 11 nights. The location is excellent as there are quite a bit of stores/restaurants within walking distance. It's not very far from the beach in one direction and Knott's Berry Farms in the other. I was in the king suite at the end of the hall on the 4th (top) floor. The room was spacious and comfy. The internet worked well with very few lagging issues even during heavy-use times of the day. The breakfast items were the standard Hampton options (various eggs, meat, potatoes, etc) and was typically fresh. I really appreciated it being open from 6 to 10am. I wish all locations used those hours. As far as the negatives go, there are a few...Although the location is convenient, there are a few homeless people that wander in the dark area between the hotel and Dollar Tree. Personally, I didn't have any troubles whatsoever, but did hear 2 different guests mention they were asked for money in the parking lot...The hotel was being renovated so you will hear hammers and drills as well as spanish music randomly throughout the day. The TV was just a 32", which is simply not big enough for a hotel room. It was placed to the left of the bed so you had to be turned to watch it, which got quite uncomfortable at times. There is a lounge chair but the small TV makes it difficult to see very well...The mini fridge worked but doesn't get very cold - and there is no way to change the settings. The bathroom was nice and had a walk-in shower - which is always a plus. It needs to have more than 1 small shelf but otherwise was nice. Here's a tip for the shower: turn the water to the hottest position and leave it running while you do a few other things. It takes a solid 5 minutes before it reaches it full potential. You can adjust accordingly afterwards. And finally, there was no microwave. This may have been the first Hilton property that I've stayed in that offers a mini fridge but not a microwave. Perhaps other rooms had them? Overall, you should find this place to be more than adequate for your needs but you may want to look elsewhere until the renovations...
