So this skatepark is also attached to the Stanton City Park which is fairly new. It's a great little place ,it's enclosed, don't see much Riff Raff hanging out, unless you count the teenagers at the skatepark, LOL. So I take my nephew who is 9 years old with his scooter and let him play in there because he likes it, but I will caution most parents to be careful of the smaller children, because the boys there can be quite fluent in languages you don't want your children to learn at this age. Most of the time they can be respectful, I keep a close eye on all of it because I will speak up if I see somebody being a little too rambunctious, LOL. The kids respond pretty well, when I gently discourage some of the harsher language and behaviors there. It's nothing too serious, just sit there with your kids so you can keep an eye on them- that's my recommendation. But they will have fun and so will you, watching all the Antics from all the kids! Read moreThe whole park is amazing. Obviously there's a skate park but the playground and public water park for younger Childeren is great. Lots of seating, some shade covers for the play areas. Clean bathrooms and an all around highly maintained park. Its desert/ old west themed which is cute. Even the building the restrooms are in is designed to look like a train station.
