Filthy outdoor tables, no napkins or condiments in the dispensers, covered in food and drink remnants, unwiped long enough to set/ congeal, and astro turf was littered with paper and food everywhere you could step. We got spray bottles and napkins from inside and cleaned 2 picnic benches long before male server? came out with a dirty smelly rag and same bottle of cleaner we took from inside. Once seated, 11 of us waited 10 minutes before incredibly slow order taking was complete, then waited 15 minutes for the drinks. Then waited another 10 minutes for those who weren't lucky enough or with foresight to have placed their food order when ordering drinks, to Have their food orders taken. And then just because it seemed to be an ongoing theme, we waited 20 minutes for any of the food to come out, and even then it was served in dribs and drabs and one of the people continued to ask for a particular type of bruschetta which never made it to her in its proper form, however, the server did bring her something that was just plain bread and insisted that's what she ordered, unbelievable!!! There was no coming back to the table to see if anyone wanted anything else or needed anything, maybe like refills on alcoholic drinks or non-alcoholic drinks or water for those of us that asked for water along with a glass of wine, which incidentally was served in a rather large wine glass with a particularly small pour And tasted absolutely nothing like the Chardonnay I had ordered, And my calzone was lukewarm, But since the server was hardly ever at the table, there was no point in bringing up another problem. They had a particularly noisy band going on in the "garage "section of this restaurant, And maybe because I was hungry and thirsty and tired of waiting and disgusted with the appearance of the table and the floor to start with, but everybody else seemed as though they were just ready to sit and eat, I would have turned around and left, so overall,my impression was, meh, I...

The food is phenomenal and the atmosphere is very relaxed and laid back, but I do not love the service here. It is a great place to drink and hang out, but not if you are dining in. I always hope the service gets better but it never does. Every time I come the servers are either rude, inattentive, or forgetful. In past visits, servers are either talking amongst themselves in the bar and act like they can't finish their conversation at a later time before serving their customer, I've asked for condiments for my food that wasn't delivered until I was halfway done eating my food during times where there wasn't much traffic only because they were too busy talking, or the server takes too long to ask for the bill. There is no sense of urgency or consideration. This particular visit today I went with a group of friends and we went during lunch, one of my friends ordered for the table until we got there and our server was Olivia L. I understand can be a busy time but just because you are busy that doesn't mean you should treat your customers any differently. When the food was delivered, Olivia asked if we needed anything else, one of my friends answered no (one person in a group does not speak for the entire group), and Olivia quickly went back inside without even letting anyone else let out a word. The same thing happened when she came back to check, and I spoke up and said I needed to place a to-go order and she made a face and rolled her eyes as she was leaving and returned to take the order. I have served at multiple restaurants before and I am very understanding of situations, but not when they are constantly repeated on different visits with different servers. Eating To-Go is a better option if you want to...

This place is a complete disappointment.

I literally had to add my own mozzarella to the margharita pizza we ordered. (Luckily, I happened to have some since I was making a meal this weekend that required it! Normally, I do not keep it in my household.) And they actually chop pieces of basil up, instead of jusy using the whole leaves like most pizza places?

Its frustrating, are they just trying to cut corners?

We also ordered a chicken parm cazone, I took a bite, and didn't eat it. Just not flavorful, and the chicken what was actually in there - was grilled, tough, and overcooked. Normally you think parm, and you think breaded. It was not done well. Marinara is not great for a parm sauce.

If a place is not good, I usually do not go out of my way to write a review. I just never go there again. Buttttttt. This is the third time I have ordered from here. And all 3 times were terrible.

Like I said, I have tried this place 3 times. The first time I thought it might be a fluke with no toppings. Like scarce. Second time it was just like the first time. I counted 2 half pieces of meat and 3 pieces of vegetable. And said then, we would never eat there again. But then.... it has been MONTHS. And somehow decided that we woukd try it again.

So tonight is officially the third and last time. Now, shame on me - I am insane for doing it again. I just wanted it to be good sooo badly. But it's still just as awful.

I mean, at least its consistently...

The service here was really good, very attentive staff and they go out of their way to help in any way they can. The food is okay for the most part; the meatball appetizer is tasty and seasoned well. The pizza's tried were The KOA (prosciutto, bacon, pineapple, mozzarella, provolone and marinara), The Margherita (Basil, Fresh Mozzarella, and Marinara), and JJ's Favorite (Local Grass Fed Ground Beef, Marina, Mozzarella, Provolone, and black olives and onions for our choice of two other toppings). The KOA was by far the best of the three. Flavours were there and the quantity was just right. The Margherita was lacking as the thickness of the fresh mozzarella was amiss and looked flat and tasteless except for the basil. JJ's Favorite looked thrown together with some slices missing black olives all together. And the beer selection sucked. I see signs of local craft beer everywhere in there but they only served one draft and that was from Atlanta. Um, hello, you have. Eagle Creek Brewery a few blocks away from you. Support your local brewery and you support local businesses such as yourself. Anyways, I would like to see more local beer or remove your signs as you give the wrong message. I won't dismiss this place entirely but I may try another in Statesboro before coming back.

I hope the food is better than the accommodations. As a special needs parent, sometimes we deal with children that are “picky” eaters. I called Nonna’s to inquire about French fries and chicken nuggets being a part of their menu, I was told that they are not. So I grabbed my toddler’s food from Chick fila before stopping by Nonna’s. I walked in and respectfully asked if she could eat her food with our party of 6. I was told no, but they offered us the ability to dine outside. The heat in Statesboro is awful right now and way too hot for my heart complex one year old. As a visiting out of towner I will never come visit this establishment when I’m in town again. I hope other families have better luck when visiting Nonna’s. ***I also wanted to add that this was the decision made by the GM that was on the premises (the staff looked uncomfortable with delivering the news to me). **UPDATE** I will give credit when credit is due and I was impressed with the food and our waitress service. My original rating was 2 star and I took it up to a 3, because first impressions are everything.

Great place to go for an evening bite with or without the kids. Outdoor space is great and there are rails to keep the spawn of your loins contained. The pizza is solid and there are. Couple of unique options or build your own. The 10” is the perfect personal pizza and everyone can pick what they want. We all ordered a different kind and shared. Once your full slide around back where they have a couple of bars, a stage for live music, pool tables, arcade games, cornhole, a couple of putt putt holes pretty cool. Pro tip bring a prepaid debit card and let your demons do their own think and not sink your bank account while you enjoy a tune and a brew. We generally get out of there by 8-9 on a weekend as it is more of a college vibe, they’re totally cool, but I’ll be doing shots and reliving the glory days if given half a chance. Give it a try you’ll be happy about it. Yes we did a photo shoot by their sign. My daughter loves that $h*t.
