I recently visited a Subway location and was extremely disappointed with my experience. As a frequent customer and owner of multiple Subway franchises, I have certain expectations for cleanliness, customer service, and food preparation standards. Unfortunately, this location fell short in every aspect.
Firstly, the attitude of the staff was unacceptable. The heavy-set black lady who served me was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Customer service is a cornerstone of any successful business, and her behavior was far from what I expect at Subway.
Additionally, the store had significant issues with cross-contamination. Employees were ringing up guests while wearing the same gloves they used to make sandwiches. This practice is not only unsanitary but also against health and safety standards. Proper hygiene and cross-contamination prevention are crucial in food service, and this location clearly lacks training in these areas.
The final straw was the way my sandwich was prepared and wrapped. It was poorly constructed, with dressing and veggies falling out. A properly wrapped sandwich should be neat and contained, ensuring a pleasant eating experience. This location's inability to do so reflects a lack of attention to detail and proper training.
Overall, this Subway location needs significant improvements in customer service, hygiene practices, and food preparation. As an owner of multiple Subway franchises, I cannot fathom how poorly this store is being managed. Immediate action is necessary to bring this location up to the standards that customers expect from Subway. Tony… I hope...
Read moreIf I could rate less than 1 star I absolutely would. Everytime I’ve been in this specific subway, it’s been some mess. Last night I placed a mobile order and didn’t realize until I was in route that it was this specific store. I picked up my food and go home (it’s my fault for not checking the food in the parking lot). TELL ME HOW YOU MESS UP A BREAD, MEAT, AND CHEESE SANDWICH. They had ALL TYPES of toppings that were meant for one of the other sandwiches I ordered on. They simultaneously messed up THREE sandwiches. One had toppings when it didn’t need any and it wasn’t toasted, one only had part of the toppings it did need, and the third was so overfilled with nasty BROWN lettuce that it barely closed and so SOAKED in condiments that the wrapping was falling apart from moisture. It was disgusting. I’m not one to normally complain or leave a review but as I stated, it’s always something with this specific location. They do not care. It’s always the same people in the store, they have bad attitudes, don’t keep their lines fresh, can’t make a sandwich right to save their lives, and genuinely could not care less. I recommend ALWAYS going to the subway on the bypass...
Read moreDuring our visit to Subway in Statesboro, GA, we were initially surprised to find the lobby relatively empty, especially considering there was an event at the nearby college. However, we soon realized that it might have been because the restaurant was gearing up for later offerings, which didn't detract from our overall experience.
Despite the quiet ambiance, we were promptly greeted by the friendly staff who were more than happy to assist us in choosing our sandwiches. Their helpful suggestions made the decision-making process much easier, and we appreciated their patience and attentiveness.
The food itself was excellent, with our sandwiches prepared quickly and to our liking. Despite the rush of preparing for the evening's event, the staff remained efficient and focused on delivering quality food with prompt service.
While the empty lobby initially gave us pause, our experience at Subway in Statesboro was ultimately a positive one. The delicious food, fast service, and friendly staff made for an enjoyable dining experience that we would...
