king buffet — Restaurant in Statesville

This place is listed as an "All you can eat buffet"..... This is my second visit in a row when ...I like the stuffed mussels.... I ate what was on the buffet and was asked if I wanted anything else.... I responded by saying.....yes....I would like more mussels.... They responded by bringing out at 6... I ate those as we were like the only people there... I told them I would like more and was looked at silly and they brought out 6 more...yes.....only 6.....when they asked me if I wanted anything else I told them no I would like more mussles because I am a man of large appetite and that's what I like., They refused to bring anymore our and attempted to rush us out the door.... I told them that this is advertised as an all-you-can-eat buffet and I did not get all I could eat and I then said If I can't get all I can eat then I want my money back... Then they started acting like they did not understand what I was saying and refused to make anything right... The food is good..... But this type of attitudes and actions are totally...

This is the most unprofessional restaurant that I have EVER been in! I work beside this place, so I try to give them a chance. Never ever again!!! They are very rude and have NO customer services skills. The management is very argumentative and talks down to you. The food is cold and if you ask them to prepare you a fresh plate, that you will/would pay for, they want do it! They will tell you to go microwave the cold food they gave you and hang up the phone. I work in retail and customer service over 15 years and never been to a restaurant with an attitude like this. It's/the restaurant is a very blunt disrespect to the whole restaurant industry. I will NOT recommend to place to a man or woman who lives on the street!!! Not even a wild animal.They are cheap, disrepect, rude, and seem to use the poorest meats and vegs. The old owner was very higher class and professional. The New one are everything, but professional!!! Warning, don't subject yourself to...

The best catfish I have ever eaten. Tender and juicy. Perfectly cooked. Good fresh peel and eat shrimp. Scrumptious frog legs- huge and meaty. Staff was efficient and very friendly. Excellent food fresh and plenty available. At the time we were there (early) only about 8 people were eating but fresh food kept coming out of the kitchen. You might have to wait but fresh food will soon be on the bar. A lot better than stocking the bar and letting it get old and stale. They rotated the buffet so you always had fresh food but on some items you might need to wait a few minutes. But in the 30 minutes we were there I think all the cooked items were replaced with fresh from the kitchen items. That way I ate only fresh from the kitchen items even though there were just a few people there. The food rotation was excellent and efficient. 5 stars...
