There’s a lot to say about my experience here, but the main takeaway is that, given the price, I’m not sure the food lived up to its cost. If it were priced a bit lower, I could see it working well as a convenient takeout option. However, for the amount spent, I left feeling somewhat unsatisfied. The food isn’t necessarily bad—it’s actually quite decent—but it doesn’t stand out as exceptional, either. It lands somewhere in the middle, neither impressively good nor disappointing, but I’m unsure it offers enough value for the price.
One of the most surprising parts of my experience was that, even though I ordered several different dishes to sample a variety of flavors, I still left feeling hungry. It’s rare that I feel this way after dining out, and I’m not sure if that’s because the food itself wasn’t particularly filling or if it had something to do with portion sizes. This left me with a lingering question about whether the overall experience was worth it or if it’s simply the nature of the dishes they serve here.
On the positive side, the restaurant was clean and well-maintained. It had a fair number of customers, which is usually a reassuring sign of a restaurant’s quality. The staff was also attentive, polite, and responsive to our needs—they made sure to check in with us regularly and promptly brought us anything we requested, which added a nice touch to the experience.
As for the food, I ordered a variety to get a broad sense of what they offer: cheese wontons, a complimentary egg roll that came with the meal, potstickers, and house fried rice. Each dish had its strengths, though none really stood out as remarkable. The cheese wontons were crispy and flavorful, but nothing particularly unique. The potstickers were cooked well, with a good texture and flavor balance, but again, didn’t wow me. The egg roll was standard but enjoyable, adding a nice little crunch to the meal. The house fried rice, however, was a bit of a mixed experience; while it was cooked decently, some of the meat pieces were slightly overcooked, which took away from the enjoyment. The rice itself had a good consistency, though, so it was by no means a bad dish—just a little uneven.
Overall, I’m not entirely sure if I’ll be returning for another meal, primarily because of the price relative to the food quality and portion sizes. I might come back to sample a few different dishes to see if perhaps I just didn’t choose the best items on the menu. If I do return, I’ll likely go in with more tempered expectations. I would encourage anyone interested to give it a try for themselves, but I’d recommend going in with realistic expectations—don’t expect anything particularly extraordinary, but you’ll likely enjoy a clean environment with friendly service and a...
Read moreMy wife and I had a great date night here. We usually eat at 5pm in order to get ahead of the rush and get better service and food. This experience was no exception. Service was great, food was fresh. My wife order the orange peel chicken and general tso’s chicken. I ordered a lobster roll and some appetizers. (Gyoza, chicken egg roll and crab rangoon)
Great experience and we will come back.
Just be aware that the Sushi bar is only available on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
Edit: Wife wanted it clarified that we order a lot of extras, with which we plan to take home to eat. She DID NOT eat both dinner selections. I repeat, she DID NOT eat both selections herself.
EDIT: Went back 2x and both repeats were very disappointing. Overcooked american white rice used for both sushi rolls and steamed white rice. They keep using American white rice and not Jasmine for main dishes or Sushi rice for sushi rolls. Big faux pas for an Asian restaurant. Will not...
Read moreWe are really glad we ate here while visiting. We went and ordered to go 30 min before closing. Owner was very kind. Food was hot and fresh when we got to hotel. I had lo mein and beef and broccoli. She had bento box with sesame chicken, fried rice, egg roll and California roll. That was the best California roll we've ever had. The egg roll was good you hardly find good ones anymore. I enjoyed the beef and broccoli it was fresh . She enjoyed the chicken it was fried well. The food wasn't heavy how it is sometimes like too much msg. It was really good so I had to leave a full review. I don't feel heavy after and we both have a full leftover plate. If I was to have a complaint which I don't, is I didn't like that the egg roll and sushi got sauce all over them . And idk if that was intentional or an error on my part when bringing food into the hotel. Really good experience and we may eat again on our stay and try...
