Do NOT get coffee from here.
Strike 1 - I ordered an iced medium cortado with tiramisu flavor. My wife ordered a hot latte with butterscotch flavor. I paid with Google pay.
They gave me a hot cortado. I reminded that I wanted it iced. They apologized and added some ice to it.
Strike 2 - The hot butterscotch latte was room temperature and CLOYINGLY sweet. No coffee should be allowed to be this sweet. I tasted mine and it was equally bad. These coffees are one of the worst coffees I have ever had in my life.
Strike 3 - We politely asked if the butterscotch latte can be warmed up and made less sweet. They said the only thing they can do is to microwave it. They ran out of milk to make another one. Sure, let's microwave that then!
Also, I asked if they can add an extra espresso shot to combat the excessive sweetness. They said that I have to pay for it and that it would be 80 cents. I said, "sure, no problem", and went to pay with Google pay.
They said, "card payment has to be over 1 dollar".
I replied, "Sorry, I don't have cash".
They said, "Oh, my boss is pretty strict about giving away free stuff".
Why were they saying it to me? I controlled my emotion and said, "I didn't want any free stuff".
They went back with the coffee and returned a couple minutes later with a somewhat warmer coffee and no detectable change in the sweetness.
We threw out both the iced and hot coffee after a couple sips. I am not going there ever again. My suggestion is you stay...
Read moreEverything about this place is 5 Stars. We drove just over an hour to check out the antique stores in Statham and the shop owner recommended Savvy Cakes and Legendary Sandwiches. They werenât wrong. Hubs had the mushroom swiss burger and I had the double cheeseburger with LTO and pimento cheese. Pimento cheese is one of my favorite things but so many commercial places do it wrong by making it sweet or the texture is off. This place made it exactly perfect. It was tangy, zesty, creamy, and complemented the hand pattied burger perfectly. My husband, who is usually disappointed by restaurant burgers, especially mushroom swiss style, took one bite and said, âyesâŚâ That told me everything I needed to know. For sides he had the fresh cut fries and I had the onion rings. Both were absolutely delicious. For dessert we shared the gooey peanut butter bar and just when we thought the experience here couldnât be better, that soft, sweet, gooey cake took it to the next level. We highly recommend this place to anyone passing through the Winder/Athens, Georgia area. You wonât be sorry. The staff is friendly and that alone would have made this a good place but when you add the solid cooking and baking skills, affordability, and the adorable atmosphere, it makes it an all around fantastic place to visit and a place worth...
Read morethis was a few months ago but i ordered a sandwich and some cupcakes for delivery one day when i was feeling really sick and didnât wanna get out of the house, the woman i spoke to said they offered delivery after a certain time so i placed the order for a cash delivery, i didnât have enough cash to leave a full tip that i wanted because as a delivery driver i understand. so i told the woman on the phone iâd finish the rest of my tip with change of that was okay and she said it was fine. i knew the delivery could take a while but as a store that was 10-15 minutes away from where i live i was waiting for over 2 hours and finally called them. the answer i got was âshe couldnât find your addressâ with laughing and people whispering all around her, no one called me, no one informed me that they couldnât find my address, i get food and packages delivered regularly but it was upsetting that i didnât even get a notification. they couldâve told me they were unable to deliver to me and i wouldâve went somewhere else. instead they just did nothing and laughed at me when i called to ask for a follow up.as i said i was sick and just wanted some food. couldâve not wasted either of our time. i was really excited to try this place out but the level of unprofessionalism was...
